Camelot Restaurant — Restaurant in Slippery Rock

This was our second attempt in giving this place a chance after experiencing terrible customer service over a year ago.

The first time back we had the older brown haired woman and the one very elderly woman. When we tried to sit in the front booth, they snapped and told us to sit in the back booths. We did, but not even a 5 minutes later, someone they knew came in and sat there without any fuss from the ladies. Food was cheap and okay quality. However, my father with Parkinson’s nearly tripped on the ledge getting out and so we decided we cannot sit there again.

We came back today to these same ladies and asked them if we could sit in the front and explained the situation. My dad has Parkinson’s and nearly tripped getting down the nearly foot tall ledge. Instead of being understanding, they shook their heads in frustration. She then came over, threw down the menus, and turned away from us as we tried to explain things to her.

That was the last straw, we got up, walked out and will never be coming back here again. These people have no idea on how to run a business or treat any people they don’t know with any...

The food was decent and was a good price. The server was very kind. The only thing I had a problem with was the woman who sat us and worked the cash register. I was with a friend and we were just going to add our bills together to make it an even $10 with tip. I asked the woman if we could put the two checks together and she said “add it up.” I didn’t hear her at first so she then repeated herself rudely saying to add them up because she needs to know the total. So I just grabbed my calculator really quick because I already calculated our total but wanted to double check. She then was getting frustrated and said no don’t use that, just add it up. She then continued on saying that I am in college and this is embarrassing that I took my phone out. She said I should never do that for an internship or a job interview. Heard that this is the place to go for breakfast so 6 of us were traveling through the area and we stopped. We got 1 cinnamon roll which we read they are known for and wanted to sample. It was quite large but a little doughy like it wasn't quite done. None of us thought it was exceptional as other reviews implied. I had the Mexican omelet which was quite good, came with toast, and was more than enough for me. Everyone was happy with the food choices and the prices were good. The server seemed to be not-so-friendly at first but was better before we left. The dining room is quite crowded with tables and chairs. You have to walk through the dining room to get to the restrooms and if they are real busy it would be difficult to walk through. The restrooms were very clean. Parking is a bit of a problem. There is on street parking so you don't know how far away you will be. All in all, we would go back. Food is good and...
