I have eaten at North Country hundreds of times since they opened. Always enjoyed the experience. In the past six months, I have seen a significant decline in the service provided. However, my wife and I still eat there nearly every week. This past Thursday, was the low point of all the times we have gone. We came in around 5:00 and requested to sit in a certain area. We were told that they did not have a server for that area. She was supposed to be there at 5:00 but was not there yet. We were told we could sit in another area or sit at the bar and wait until the server arrived. We decided to sit at the bar and wait. We only waited for a few minutes when the Hostess said the server was there and she could sit us in the booth across from the bar. We were seated around 5:05. As the time approached 5:25, the no one came to our table to greet us or take our order. However, the server waited on a table that was seated after us. So at 5:25, we decided to go back to the bar and just order there. When I told the bartender that we had just sat there 20 minutes with no one coming to our table, her response was "Well, in her defense, she just got here No, I'm sorry. No, well I can take care of you! I have been there when Tony, the bartender working by himself, would come over and take our order. However, two bartenders could not leave behind the bar and take our order. After hearing the bartender defend the server and not apologize, we just decided to leave. I spoke to the Manager Kevin on duty and he apologized but by then my wife had gone to the car. We will still be back in the coming months and hopefully things will be better. Huge...

We normally love coming out to the brewery, not only do we love the food, we love the atmosphere. However this time around it was sub par. It was our first time dining out since the most recent shutdown. They had a limited menu, which didn’t have exactly what we were hoping to get but totally understandable as to why they have a limited menu. I’m sure it’s the fear of another shutdown and not wanting to have an over abundance of food that could possibly go to waste; a lot of places have taken a hard hit over the past year and I totally get it as to why they had a limited menu with slightly higher than normal menu prices. But what I don’t get was the service we had received from our server. Totally disappointed to the point that we won’t be returning for quite some time. It took her a really long time to greet us and it wasn’t even that busy for a Saturday lunch crowd. She arrived at the table which seemed like 20 minutes but was probably only 10 minutes with waters in hand and then took our drink order. She took our order, which we ordered an appetizer and main course for lunch. After that she disappeared. She was no where in sight nor did she ever come back to our table once during our whole meal. The only time she returned was to drop off the check. Thank goodness she did bring us waters in the beginning or else we would have had nothing to drink after we finished our appetizer. But she sure was quick to come back to the table to collect the payment. Normally we’re 20% tippers but I don’t even think she deserved the 10% we left her. We were definitely super disappointed as we left yesterday and decided we won’t be going back for...

Son was playing in a hockey tournament at the Grove City YMCA. My wife was given 2 gift cards to the pub so it was the perfect time to try the place out. We went around 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Plenty of tables available. The building is really cool. Has a very rustic log cabin feel. Neat decorations. Some stuff very quirky and different. We were seated right away. Waitress was there in a flash to take drink orders. My older son was the only one try one of the beers. I think they had about 10 or 12 beers listed on their board. My son had an IPA but I didn't catch which one. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese for an appetizer. Some of the best pretzels we have had and the cheese was spot on. The menu is not super large but certainly has enough to choose from. There was 4 of us and we all had a burger. I had a mushroom Swiss burger, wife had one with an egg on it. Sons had a plain cheese burger and one with onion rings on it. Wife wanted well done...it was more like medium. A little pink for her but she ate it and loved it. The "men" got ours med/rare and the were perfect. All the sandwiches came with seasoned hand cut fries. Only complaint, the fries were not super hot. Not a deal breaker. Burgers were big and juicy with very good flavor. 2 thumbs up for the food! Our waitress was very attentive. She was right on top of drink refills and anything thing else we needed. I wish I would have paid attention to her name to give her the proper shout out. The place is a little pricy....$100+ with tip...but the food and overall experience are well worth the visit. We are planning on coming back and bringing...

As a lover of all things rustic and unique, my visit to North Country Brew Pub in Slippery Rock, PA was nothing short of enchanting. This brewpub is a delightful blend of rustic charm and intriguing mystery, and it truly stands apart in its design and ambiance. If I could give it 10 stars for the atmosphere I would. The moment you step in, you are transported to a serene hiking trail lodge, with its beautiful woodwork echoing the charm of the great outdoors. The beams, the paneling, the bar area - everything exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that just calls out to your adventurous spirit. But what truly gives this place an added dimension is its intriguing haunted history. If you're a fan of ghost stories and old lore, this is the place for you. The history adds an intriguing twist to your dining experience, making each visit a thrilling adventure. As for the brews, each is as unique and satisfying as the atmosphere. Their menu boasts a broad selection of house-made beers that can cater to a variety of palettes. The staff is well-versed and more than willing to guide you to your perfect brew. Pair this with their stellar food offerings and you are in for a treat. Each dish is a culinary delight, perfectly complementing the brews and the rustic atmosphere. North Country Brew Pub is more than just a restaurant or a brewpub. It's an experience – a rustic retreat with a dash of mystery and a whole lot of charm. This place is truly a must-visit and I eagerly look forward to my next adventure here!

This was the 4th or 5th time we have been here for dinner.... this was by far the worst experience for food....I ordered the strip steak baked potato and mac&beer cheese.....I also ordered a hand crafted for beer for beverage.... when the root beer was brought I was told something was wrong with the co2 and I could try it but if I didn't like it I could order something else..... of course it was flat.....I ordered a water and called it a day.... my steak was tasty enough however more of a med well rather than med but it was palatable enough the baked potato was just fine a little on the smaller size but alright as well... the mac&beer cheese was barely warm and as well looked and tasted left over and warned up but at the same time not warm at all...... very dry and actually no cheesy creamy lol to it at all.....I can't believe they would even bring it out to serve it....I also asked for bread as I said it was the 4th or 5th visit I have had here she told me they don't have any..... number one who doesn't have bread at a restaurant and secondly I have been there before and they had the best beer bread baked in a small clay pot.... it was delicious and one of the reasons I would come back.....I will probably not be back no bread dry left over mac&cheese means no return.... you need to earn a return visit and until this time you have gotten it but after this no
