The DAV is a large thrift store, it's fairly priced on most items, we have checked out some items in the cases and been surprised by how high they were however. They have a good book section that is VERY well organized, which is so appreciated! You can also get magazines there, I get them for collage art, they're very reasonable! We generally check out the bric-a-brac, toys, and dishes a decent selection of all. It's a must stop, shop for a good cause! The staff has always been nice and welcoming too! Cashier removes clothes from the hangers and looks at a couple tags and rang up all the shirts at 4.98 even though one was marked 3.98 - she also charged me for 5 pieces of clothing instead of the 4 I had. Good thing it's for charity I guess. Just pay attention to them as they are ringing you up. Books are orderly. Clothing is arranged by size. The items for sale in the store are neat and usable. I don't find things with broken parts or missing buttons unless it is labeled as such.
