I would like to start this review by telling a little history about my daughter. When my girl was in her early twenties, she was in a very bad car accident that nearly took her life, but thankfully God allowed her to stay on this planet a while longer. The years afterward were very difficult as she went through physical therapy to learn how to walk again. Her doctor put and kept her on very powerful pain medicine for over ten years, until my daughter decided she wanted to stop taking them. Before her accident she wouldn't even take so much as a Tylenol. She tried weening herself off the medicine but ended up in the hospital from the horrible withdrawals she endured, but she was determined. We ended up going to an outpatient clinic and she then started taking Suboxone, which really seems to help. My daughter is more her old self now that she is not heavily medicated 24/7, which we are all very grateful for. Over the winter holidays we stayed several months with relatives in Smithville and her doctor allowed her to have virtual appointments, and since my whole family uses Webb's Pharmacy, I figured that we would go there to get her prescription filled. The first time we went everyone in the pharmacy was nice, helpful, and very polite. The second time though was a different story altogether. My daughter and I went inside to the counter where a nice young man was getting her medicine when a woman, I am sure her name is Brenda, intervened. She told us, rudely I might add, that my daughter could not get her medicine until the next day. At the time she only had one pill left, for that same evening as it was the thirtieth day. We asked why and Brenda refused to explain and just told us to come back tomorrow. I am very involved in my daughter's treatment and have been with her nearly every time to our pharmacy, so I know that insurance will pay the same day you are to run out. Also, we have never been treated so rudely by any other place. I cannot say for certain, but it was as if Brenda was being judgmental toward us because of the type of medicine it is. Yes, Suboxone is addiction medication, but you would think that would be all the more reason to give it to the patients on time. I have never written one bad review about anyone, but this has been weighing on me heavily because I also witnessed Brenda treat someone else the same way. Webb's was a great place, and everyone was wonderful except Brenda. If I were the owner, I would try to explain that you should not treat others the way...
Read moreIf you have not been to this hidden gem in Smithville, GO. It is so cute. The restaurant is on one end and a gift shop on the other. It's very quaint and has a great atmosphere. The service is great! Our server was Ellie, she was very sweet and helpful with the menu. Now let's talk about what we are here for, the food! The old fashion burger was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had if not the best. The patty was seasoned to perfection. The lettuce was crisp and the pickles were crisp and delicious. The pasta salad was absolutely wonderful. The noodles were cooked perfect and it was bursting with flavor! 10/10 I highly recommend this place! They have a good variety of meals and sweet treats and vegan options as well. I will definitely be back! It was a wonderful experience start to finish. Especially at the very end when they...
Read moreHad a pretty crazy experience the other day with webbs. Picked up my prescription and when i got home i realize they only filled a 30 day supply instead of 90. When I called them up The pharmacist told me that since it was a cash payment she decided just to do a 30 day supply. She didn’t ask me, didnt call me…..anything….she just took it upon herself to do this. She was also rude and didn’t apologize. When i called and asked how we were going to handle this .She told me she wasn’t doing anything until I brought the bottles back in an extremely rude tone and acted like it was my fault lol. All she had to do was apologize for making a mistake instead of giving me multiple excuses why she just didn’t follow the doctor script. Not to mention having to wait 20 mins after...
