Jade is my hair savior! I found her after I determined to leave the salon I had been using across the street from where I lived. I was unhappy with this salon because of poor coloring technique that seemed to always need hi- and low lights, the haircuts were never quite what I asked for, products were pushed that never gave promised results and I was prepared to have a huge wallet biopsy for a straightening treatment I inquired about. I tried to make it work with this salon because as I said, it was across the street. I don't mind spending money on my hair but I tired of spending money and walking out disappointed. When I'd had enough and began searching for a salon that could deal with my caucasian thick, coarse, greying, bushy hair. My search brought me to Jade at Jade Salon of Atlanta because I was interested in their Japanese thermal straightening. Jade could have sold me what I was looking for but she proceeded to explain why I might not be happy with the results as my hair was short at the time. She took genuine interest in helping tackle my hair concerns including use of their patented Dominican Hair Shield line of shampoo, conditioner, mask and blow out cream. The products transformed my hair into the softest it has been in many years. After such fantastic in-salon results with this hair system of products I purchased the line to use at home and have achieved the healthiest hair I have had in years. So healthy, it encouraged me to grow my hair longer which has really become easier for me to manage. My salt and pepper hair takes up the color she uses at different levels and essentially gives me the dimension I'm looking for without needing extra hi- and low-lights. Lastly, my hair is now sufficient length that the Japanese thermal straightening is in my future in March.

Jade is a caring professional and is wise beyond her years. Not only do I get a monthly beauty appointment but I get to spend time with a trusted friend. I have been happily driving 25 minutes To Jade Salon in place of across the street convenience for about 2 years.

Had my Japanese thermal straightening 3/21 and my expectations were met immediately. My hair is silky smooth and not too flat to my head which tells me Jade did a proper analysis of my hair volume and texture and weighed that analysis with my expectations before agreeing to perform the treatment. I'm doing my part to insure a favorable long term outcome so haven't washed my hair yet and won't for 1 1/2 more days. I had my first japanese straightening treatment with Jade on my 3b curly hair at this salon. I think the professionalism and experience is lacking here. I was told during consult I would pay a set amount as I would be chopping my hair shoulder length. During the assesment of my hair Jade kept remarking how compromised my hair was and how she would need to use a mild variation of the relaxer. I found this odd as I had very strong minimally treated waist length hair. I am middle eastern and my hair is extremly coarse. So we start processing and after washing she is acting confused because my hair is not loosening the curl pattern. Long story short I was there all day with 3 application processes that took from 11 am to 6 pm. She literally had to keep reapplying the relaxer after washing it out. My hair type was entirely not assessed properly and at the end of the session she bumped the price up by 50 dollars. So 450 for shoulder legnth hair. I now see a Dominican woman in Orlando. My hair gets super stregnth lisico and does not take longer than 4 hours to do with 1 application of the relaxer not 3. It costs 350 dollars. Also I had some baby hairs burned off my edges with Jade. I have curly, frizzy hair, and with the straightening treatment, I can now just get out of the shower, blow-dry, and go—no more hours of battling my hair! It’s been such a time-saver, and I’m so grateful for it.
