I don't think I have ever left a review on anything, but this location has given me too many good reasons to not leave one. The first few times I had pretty bad customer service here, I thought it might have just been that one person on that particular day, but it has continued time and time again. I've driven up to the window before and not been greeted at all - just given a quick "HERE YOU GO" when my food was ready. That is quite literally all the person in the window said. The fry containers are never full and things just seem to be all around a little ..... off here.
There was one day that I will never forget that I think really sums up the employees attitude at this location. I ordered a frosted coffee with oreos and chocolate syrup (which is something I have ordered for years and something I used to make when I worked at Chic-fil-A myself). When I pull up to the window, the employee standing outside is slurping down a milkshake (I'm glad atleast SOME one was enjoying theirs) and when she hands me my drink, I realize it doesn't have oreos, so I kindly ask if they could put oreos in it. She tells the man inside the window that does not seem to care at all that I can literally SEE him and gives his coworker a look as if I just asked him to go to the store, purchase more oreos, and hand deliver them to my house himself. He goes to get someone to remake it and slams the new one down on the counter at the window. To my surprise, they had just put oreos on top of the drink they had already tried to give me, which in theory is fine, but not really what I had asked for. Normally I wouldn't make a huge deal about this (working in the service industry, I know how entitled people can act and how much they can exploit the system - especially at a place like CFA where they know they will be treated well no matter what) but the whole situation really bothered me. They reluctantly re-made it and I left being made to feel like I had ruined their entire life.
It's unfortunate that this is the most convenient location for me to visit, as I rarely ever have a good experience. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done about this, but this location in particular seems to be run by a bunch of high schoolers that don't want to be there at all (which is fair, I was once that high schooler too - but atleast don't let the customers in on that little...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this Chick-fil-A this evening around 5:00. We placed a mobile order and arrived to a restaurant with no line! Fantastic until it wasn't.... A line accumulated around the building and we found ourselves behind the vehicle at the window. About 5 minutes went by until an employee walked to our car and literally said "Yo card ain't have enough money".... We placed a mobile order that successfully processed and verified that with the first drive thru attendant. We were unsure and gave the employee another form of payment. The guy returns with a large fry and the card payment. At this moment we realize it... That order was not ours. The man never said hello or verified the name on the order. We'd paid for another patrons food after being insulted! We pull up to the window and the drive thru attendent had a verbal spat with the drive thru window expo who was working the screen. She's telling him it's his job to verify orders. He's asking her is this the silver sedan. She doesn't even enter the vehicle description, the order taker/patron does! How do you own employees not understand the in's and out's of YOUR drive thru. They go back and forth until a manager (I'm assuming) approaches and tells us, "Pull forward". No please. No hello. No my pleasure. We are not the type of patrons that need to feel like the favorite customer but basic decency and pleasantries are expected!!!
This is not the first time I've had a bad encounter with this location but this is the most significant and frankly the straw that broke the camels back. There is a majority teenage staff which is great but the managers are not training or maintaining the Chick-fil-A standards here at all. I don't think I've ever seen the owner/operator.
The Chick-fil-A on Northside Dr. operated by "Mr. John" could school this location up and down!
Do you not train employees on greetings? Do you not train employees on how to deliver various messages? What do you train your staff on? Because it's not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would put zero stars if I was able to but in order to leave a review you have to at least put one. I had a HORRIBLE experience while purchasing breakfast this morning. I ordered chicken minis and upon arriving home I realized they left the CHICKEN out of my chicken minisā¦. Iām sure it goes unsaid I was appalled & upset. I drove back to CFA Smyrna in hopes that they would make it right and all I was met with was a less than favorable attitude from the MANAGER, Andrea. When I asked for a gift card to compensate my time she declined & said she could issue me a refund, if I wanted a refund I wouldnāt have gone to CFA⦠I wanted the food as I was hungry. Additionally, because breakfast had just ended moments before I had to get lunch and when I asked for a sunjoy to accompany my order Andrea, the MANAGER, said ādidnāt you get a coffee with this order?ā. Who wants a coffee with lunch, especially when CFA left the Chicken out of the chicken minis (I mean chicken is in the name of the restaurant, tf?). I am extremely disappointed in this experience and for the sake of all parties involved I will not be back to this location. Daniel, if you are reading this, I highly suggest you re-evaluate your leadership and demote Andrea until she can learn the CFA way, as her attitude does not reflect your branding and there are not enough āmy pleasuresā in the world to undo what she did this morning. Iām truly wishing yāall the best moving forward because if she continues to be the face of your leadership, I see some hard times for you all in the future. Signed a very unhappy customer that...
