To the point. I’m a queer trans individual that had top surgery in 2021. I was greeted by wonderful employ named Seven. I spoke to Seven several times on the phone and let him know that I was nervous coming down to the Taylor Swift concert. That I needed someone to stay where I could be myself and feel protected. Seven promise me that I would be safe there, I could go swimming with, no problem, and Was nothing but an absolute delight. Everyone here, including the manager is a delight. The breakfast is amazing! There’s always plenty I’m not a very picky person, and this place was great. It was affordable. 17 minutes for Mercedes Benz stadium. The heater was out in the pool, but I didn’t care because I got to feel like myself, and go swimming shirtless for the first time! It was clean too. my room was clean, it has been updated. The room does smell a little musty in my king room, but I’m assuming that’s from the air conditioning. It didn’t bother me and the bed was very clean and comfortable. My refrigerator and microwave work perfectly. My remote wasn’t doing so good, but I could’ve called and asked for help. I didn’t because I had bigger things to do than watch TV. I’m sure if I had called they would’ve fixed it. I did my best to use a little Spanish I knew to communicate with housekeeping Even if you know a little bit of Spanish, it means a lot to try. They were lovely. I had access to ice on the first and third floor. I was right off the road so you will hear everything that goes on there. Kind of felt like New York but a little more chill. You’re surrounded by tons of fast food, options and gas stations. Interstate is just right down the street. For me, this was the best price, cleanest, safest, and most accommodating place I could stay for the Taylor Swift airs tour. I will now be making this my go to hotel . Another plus is that they allow third-party payment. You can ask for the manager and she’ll email you the third-party form and you can email it right back and boom you’re set! Thank you for being the absolute greatest experience when it came to lodging for such a big weekend for me. I’ll see you soon My room was clean. Housekeeping is a delight. My king room I chose didn’t have a Jacuzzi in it, they have definitely been upgrading. The floor is new. The bathroom is small, but that showerhead has some power! I never got so clean and rinsed out shampoo and conditioner so quickly in my life! It felt really good and the sink is very deep. The air conditioning had a musky smell, but it didn’t bother me because honestly mine does that at my house. Probably just needs a good cleansing. Wasn’t major, yes you’ll hear the rd it’s ATL. My remote wouldn’t work unless I really pushed down the button for the volume and a vocal closed caption was on. I couldn’t figure it out how to turn it off. I chose not to call and worry about it because I wasn’t there to watch TV. The Pools heater was out, which I called about a new about in advance, but was still allowed to swim in it. It was cold just like any other pool would be, it was clean, and that’s all that mattered to me. I know they’re working on it currently. My point is it was affordable, the staff is amazing, the breakfast isn’t huge but there’s enough for you to get full. Waffles, muffins, juices, yogurt, oatmeal packs, fresh fruit, etc. on the weekends it’s to to 10:30 AM! Again you’re right off the interstate and right back on the interstate. Surrounded by several fast food options and gas stations. 17 minute drive to Mercedes Benz Stadium. This is going to be my go to hotel. Special shout out to Seven, I hope you do something special for him because he was my selling point on this place. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly...
Read moreWas in town for an extended business trip. There was a large funny looking bug on the trash bag in the bathroom when I checked in. There were leftover cleaning supplies from housekeeping in my room. The fridge was not working. A couple days later they replaced the fridge. The vending machine on the first floor ate all my money, but it also was out of almost everything, for several days in a row. My electric key card had to be reprogrammed at least 5 times while I was there, including when I first arrived with my suitcases. One time I asked the room cleaners to let me in, and she did, without having to show my ID. The front desk said that they had new locks, but they would not be installed until December 2024. I got a curious text message when I checked in that said something like "based on the length of your stay, your room will be made up every third day". I've never heard of anything like that. It turns out they did come almost every day though. And they did respect when I had the do not disturb sign up. And they never called me on the room phone to bother me, which was wonderful! Many guests smoke, and they gather close by the front entrance. Even in front of the sign that tells people NOT TO. The driveway only has one way in out, which makes for congestion. Free breakfast was included and was likely the best thing about my whole stay there. Some very nice staff at the front desk and an especially friendly, helpful, and useful gal who handles the breakfast during the week. I got a nice handwritten note from the room cleaner after I left some tips a couple time. They seemed to very much appreciate it. I wish they had a room safe. I did not use their pool or workout area. They did have free coffee 24 hours a day, which I did have. And Amazon was able to deliver packages for me to the front desk. | And they were very nice about it. I did not see any beg bugs, but it was the kind of place that MADE ME WANT TO CHECK FOR THEM. I do not look forward to another stay if I could avoid it in the future. But I suspect that other nearby hotels are even worse. Also nearby are every fast food joint you can think of. Including a gas station store that had random items that people forget when they are traveling. Finally, the hotel asked for feedback, which I directly gave them. And they wrote back, quoting some of the comments I made to them. It is 100% clear that the owners care about feedback and I know they will try a little harder in the future. And it is also clear that the staff is very nice. I think the problem is that they do not charge a lot, and therefore have to pick and choose where to spend their money. And I am a little snooty and more accustomed to high end hotels. So the problem is not with this hotel, it is with ME. I think all their other customers probably had a father better stay than me. I am the problem in this case, NOT the HOTEL. So sorry that I...
Read moreI shared some of this on another review site as well, but forgot about the food in the sofa bed when we unfolded it, the hairs and scum on the bathroom floor and stickiness on the carpet like syrup. The place needs to be cleaned. And how do they fold up a sofa bed like that? Then the best part: When we checked in, staff was friendly. It would have been nice had they told us about the "manager's reception" cocktail time rather than after the fact when I asked if I could buy a glass of wine or something and was told I missed it! So, there is ONLY a front desk person in the evenings. If you need anything, you are SOL. Suite said sleeps 5-that means 3 to the king bed. Then there were no pillows blankets, etc for the sofa sleeper and only towels/washcloths for 3. I went down, was piled over my chin with things to carry up myself because they have no one. The next night-dropped kids off in GA, Hubby and son were in the pool. Our phones, money clothes, and dinner were in the room. Key to the door didnt work. Had to call maintenance man after calling the manager who didnt answer her phone (both were off for the evening) and wait until maintenance got there and changed out the entire door lock system. It was over 2 hours of being locked out (think cold, wet, hungry people with no clothes) and we didnt get into our room to our phones, dinner, etc until after 9pm. Sad excuse for a hotel. I was told we would be credited a partial credit for the time locked out,but that didn't happen. So, if you want to fetch your own blankets, towels, pillows, and dont mind if your door key system dies and there is no-one there to let you in your room, then it's ok. The breakfast attendant was very nice, but don't eat the French toast-hard as a rock! Oh, and its a no smoking hotel, but when we arrived. the 4th floor was filled with marijuana and the music in other rooms was ridiculous. They were socializing/smoking between the rooms, which was not great...
