Will not be visiting this store anymore. They have no concern for the hobby and only care about ripping people off and making the most money possible.
They post on Facebook that their Mega Evolution packs will be on sale one day Wednesday-Friday, depending on when they arrive. Cool, I am going by on my way home from work and have a minute, I dont actually expect anything, nut I stop by. The shelves are fully stocked, so I ask for a price only to be told no Mega Evolutions will be sold until Friday. Of course, push the date out so that you can create a line and upcharge everyone. Whatever, clear where your priorities are. This was posted on Facebook, but less than 1 hour prior to me stopping in, either way it is misleading when you have a shelf full of product.
After that I ask to purchase a Graded card from the cabinet. I always check comps before buying anything and the price on this one was reasonable, so why not. As he pulls the card out he tells me that new policy is all card prices will be checked prior to purchase. It is their store, they can do what they want, but if you are doing this please take the price stickers off of everything. He pulls up the price and he quotes me 80% higher than the sticker price. Mind you I also checked comps prior and they are no where even remotely close to what they are asking. You can keep the card and you will still have it 6 months from now with that price.
Pokemon is already tough enough as it is with scalpers buying everything and charging up the prices, but when your local card shop is doing the same, it only gets worse. They are ruining the hobby for everyone.

Read moreGreat place to hang out and chill…..that’s it though…..I had stopped by to check the place out to see how it was and first impression was great and seemed promising and fun and they seem to have great prices. The next day I brought some of my cards to trade for cards I wanted in my collection and I was planning on buying a booster box to open with wife and nephew after I traded for some the cards I was looking for in my collection. I was planning on it being a fun day, but a couple mins after walking in with my nephew I then could not get any real help, I was not able to tell who was staff or who was a customer. Everyone was walking in and out the back, or playing card game with customers. We were somehow able to get some help and they were finally able to pull out 1 of the cards I wanted and another card that wasn’t really a card I was looking for but fit the collection (both none graded). I then tried to give them an PSA 9 card that I was trying to get rid of and I was gonna be ok with paying a bit more out of pocket but they wouldn’t take it at all. I then handed them a PSA 10 card to let them know I was serious and I was actually gonna loose money on the deal but I was ok with it if they had stickers, so they all immediately started looking for stickers and instead I got a bunch of trash posters and an expired calendar. The staff and/or customers (still couldn’t tell) were eating chicken and cursing in front of my 8 year old nephew. I will give them an extra star because they gave my nephew some chicken. Read moreCame out of town woth a friend for a tournament that was supposed to take place on the 4th of July. Store was closed. There was no notification that it was canceled. It still showed in the bandai app the tournament was still taking place. The bandai app has the ability to cancel the event before hand, or send a message to the people signed up.
Called the number inquiring about the tournament, they said it was posted in discord that it was canceled. There is no way to access their discord on their website or other sites. The person on the phone gave us the discord so we could inquire about rescheduling of the tournament.
When we started asking questions on discord the moderator wasn't answering our questions, and when we told them our situation, they deleted all the messages. When we asked why are you deleting the messages, we were banned from the discord.
That's absolute b.s. I spent 200 dollars on a hotel and gas/food to come up here for this specific tournament to only be treated like this? We were only inquiring about rescheduling. I was upset there was no notification of cancelation, which I could've canceled my trip.
Your customer service and ability to relay information is garbage. I'm out 200 dollars because of your failure to communicate in a place everyone...
