Just moved to the area and this was our first pizza restaurant we visited, the food was very good! But, I have a diabetic medical alert dog with service vest visible & ID card presented on initial visit that accompanied me numerous times with no problems, even spoke to one of the owners regarding her as she is a miniature dachshund & he also has that breed. She is about 9lbs & lays on the seat beside me quietly, she must be near my face to be able to alert for a blood sugar event. These dogs alert by organic chemicals released through your breath or skin. As we where attending the restaurant for dinner one evening we were met with whispers from another patron & the same gentleman we had interacted with many times before approached us & told me that she would have lay on the floor at my feet, I told him that with a diabetic alert dog they had to be close to my face to be able to sense changes in my breath & he informed me that was how it had to be. We sadly left the establishment to never return, too bad, as I said & will continue to say, the pizza...
Read moreIt was amazing for me. I am someone who likes to try new things, and this place makes it so that even if something sounds like it does not taste good, it always does. I am from New York, and to say this pizza is good would be an understatement. It reminds me a bit of home but also of Oregon where I now live. The root beer is great and comes with one free refill. I got a personal pizza and, man, it was great. It tasted amazing. It shocked me. I thought, "I thought Alaska only had good fish," but I was dead wrong. The service was great. I don't remember her name, but she had colored hair. She was nice and got our food pretty quickly, considering that there were a lot of other people she was serving and she was cleaning the table. The atmosphere was great. When I think of the name pizza boys , I think of loud kids and dirty tables with bad food, but this name does not suit the restaurant whatsoever. I hope you can read my review and go to this amazing pizza place. It's one of the best pizza places...
Read moreFor starters, I called this place to make an order for pick up. Someone answered by saying "please hold", and set down the phone for ten minutes. Then, when you walk into the restaurant two workers are arguing over who can serve alcohol. I show up to pick up my pizza and the lady at the front tells me it will be 15 more minutes. I go outside to wait in my car, and she must have forgot how long I was there. The same hostess served EVERY PERSON who came in after me while I waited an hour and a half for my pizza. Finally someone came from the back and said "you've been here a while, has anyone updated you on your wait time?" Finally, I got my order an hour and a half later. I was supposed to pick up my pizza at 8:50 and did not walk out until 9:35. Mind you, I ordered my food at 7:55. This place needs more employees and better organization. Maybe even new management. We have property in Soldotna and spend a lot of time in the area, and We will not be returning to...
