Sunny's Asian Food & Spices — Local services in Solon

October 2022: While in the neighborhood, decided to check this place out. My family was not really looking for anything, but wanted to see what the store offered.

Pros: Very spacious and clean store that offers hot Indian food, groceries, and misc. gift items. Large variety of spices and hard to find ingredients that would appeal to the Indian/Pakistani communities. You will have to go and see for yourself...impressive collection. Public restrooms for the customers

Cons: The inventory is heavily skewed toward Indian ingredients and does not offer enough of the "Asian" stuff that I would be interested in. I felt that the store title was a tad misleading in that regard. The lines can get long during peak hours due to high demand. The prices were a little bit more expensive than I would have liked. However, the customer is gaining access to hard to find ingredients so it is only proper to see some inflation to match the supply.

Conclusion: We will be back. My family likes to cook some curry cuisines and the ginger root...

Stopped in while waiting for my son to finish his eye exam in the plaza. Found a couple things to try, but will not be back. It took quite a while to check out, the employee was nowhere to be found. The other employee told the gentleman in front of me to ring the bell, which he did. More waiting. He finally appears, very impatient with gentleman changing his order (increased for 4 to 6) requiring a new box.

He didn't give the gentleman his change, total was 18.50 he gave him two 10. He was extemely impatient with me, first because I wasn't paying cash, then because the screen said tap but I wasn't ALLOWED to tap. He started pushing buttons like I was moving too slow. Just not a...

When I approached the register to make a purchase, I had a few questions about the items I was buying.
