Avoid this place! Take the reviews seriously!!!!! I read the reviews and some were very clear the staff is not friendly & mess up your orders. I give everyone a chance so I decided to stop by. There were 2 stone faced people behind the counter. No greeting, no how can I help you. The gray haired guy walked up to the counter, looked at me like I was some pest interrupting his day. I ordered a sugar free vanilla latte, and he obviously wasn’t listening, nor asking any questions because the drink was made and it had no flavor and I hate to complain, but decided maybe they just forgot to add the sugar free vanilla and so I went to the counter, again same ol stoned face greeting and I asked “ did you forgot to add the SF vanilla. He said you never asked for it, you just said SF and I said “ ok whatever”! And started walking away because it was obvious he was not there to serve the customers & make them happy, he then laming said” I can add it”! I said , no don’t even bother!!!! You think you are gonna treat me like I’m a pest and bother and I’ll give you a chance to touch my drink again, NO THANKS!! So he needs to straighten up his act or get fired! Get that stoned faced look off your faces and greet your customers and remember you are there to serve your customers, not show off your gloom!! Definitely no plans to visit again and no plans to...
Read moreWe were really excited to attend Yelp’s Perk at Heritage Coffee event because we are avid coffee fans and love exploring new coffee shops that we’ve never been to before. And who could turn down a free coffee and pastry?!
The place is really nice with a cool vibe, very clean and minimal with chill music playing in the background. The staff is very friendly and they are really adamant on keeping the place sanitized and everything recyclable if you’re into that sort of thing. I ordered a large caramel latte with oat milk and received a free cinnamon roll with it. My wife ordered a small caramel macchiato and blueberry scone.
Unfortunately the coffee did not live up to our expectations. I was happy to hear that they made their own oat milk but my excitement was shot down when we tasted the coffee. The issue with homemade oat milk is that it’s too watery and it takes over the flavor of the coffee and any flavor added to lattes. So I could not taste any coffee or caramel in my latte and my wife’s macchiato was similar. Also the cinnamon roll was too gooey in the middle for my taste, and the scone was a little too dense and cold as well.
Maybe what we ordered was not right for us and maybe their other items are a lot better, but at least everything else was really good about this coffee shop. I hope they have the best of luck with...
Read moreI have been a customer of Heritage Coffee in Solon since we arrive to Ohio. We love the coffee/teas and the ambiance. HOWEVER…..today I was meeting a friend for coffee at 8am and the barista, who I’m not sure if she is the owner or an employee was very rude to me. When I entered the coffee I didn’t see my friend I was meeting, and I asked the barista if she saw someone entered or go to the bathroom and very rudely she told me that it was “not her job to check on people who enters the establishment”….I apologized for disrupting her and I said that I was just asking a question just to make sure my friend was already in the shop, and still she seemed very annoyed by my question. I left the shop to wait for my friend outside (she was actually in the bathroom) and we went to a different coffee shop. The place was empty by the way so it wasn’t that she was busy… I am very disappointed because I really liked this place and they lost my business and my friends. I hope some customer service training can be implemented here at least to this...
