Burgers 2 Beer Solon — Restaurant in Solon

So I have come to the solon location 4 Sep times the first time everything was great but since then service and quality has just gone downhill. The place does not seem to get busy on Fri or sat as a normal place like this would... And for being half empty if not more waiting 35 min for food if not longer is just total trash.. my own 9 year old daughter complained about how long it's taking for just her mac and cheese kids meal and she didn't like how they put ice in her milk. Which I never seen any restaurant put ice in a kids milk.. only thing I could think of why is cuz it wasn't cold milk it's only thing that makes sense.. The plates this last time were dirty. U could see a film on the plates and employees finger prints from the kitchen and servers from touching plates... Even a cleaning plate they brought out with the utensils on it u could see a film on the plates and if u drug ur finger across it u could feel the film of whatever was on it and see ur finger streak. Also my brothers fries were cold when food came out which tells us it was sitting in the kitchen waiting and not under no heat lamp or anything. My frys were not hot but still warm.... my daughter's mac and cheese was ok she said kinda like warm not hot like it should be. And service was subpar. I've been to other locations like Lakewood and highland hts and the service and quality at those 2 are great but this solon location I don't see it lasting long at all whoever is running it sucks. One of the hosts was so nice he sat and talked to my Grandmother for like 5 minutes about Fibromyalgia and body pain.They have a really solid menu there seems to be something everyone would like and the customization options are nice and varied they have a huge selection of cheese,toppings, sauces and extras so you can personalize any item you order. Okay so the buns that they use for the burgers is a perfect it's sweet and helps balance out meat and cheese. I ordered the good bad and ugly it come with cheddar I"m not a cheddar fan but I do have to say their cheddar tastes how it's supposed to it was actually really nice I would get it again with maybe provolone or american also the fries were perfect each one was so crisp and has the correct amount of potato in them.

If you are going with like 4 people then get appetizers I had the mozzarella sticks and they were so good but I was just my Grandmother and I. I think I had too many by myself and it slightly ruined my pallet for the burger It's nothing wrong with the place it is just a little advice to help the dining experience.

Out of all the restaurants I've been too this one has such a neutral temperature it was cozy plus the atmosphere was calm and freeing a lot of places make you feel kind of cooped up but the lay out is open it feels like you have a bunch of room to breath and enjoy your food in your own space.

Seriously disappointing experience. We used to go here all the time before they did the remodel. This is my first time back since it was completed and I’m not impressed.

I really wanted a good burger and I feel like the burger is not as good as it used to be. One thing that’s always bothered me is the inability to get the burger cooked to the temp you want it - you’re stuck with the option of pink or no pink. If you’re a burger place, with burgers literally in the name of your restaurant, people should be able to get their burgers cooked however they like. If I want it still mooing, that’s how it should come to the table.

Anyway, my husband ordered a build your own burger and was charged $2 for NOT having cheese on his burger and $1 for two packets of mayo! I ordered the Nut Butter burger with extra peanut butter (since they historically skimp on the peanut butter) and was charged $2 for the extra peanut butter! Not to mention there was barely any “pink” to my burger. Not only do I think such additions are ridiculous, but to add insult to injury, we were never informed about any potential up charge and there was no mention of an extra charge for mayo, no cheese, or extra peanut butter on the menu.

If you want to be nickel and dimed over mediocre food with so-so service then this restaurant is for you. As for me, I will not be back. They can pay for the renovation another way, it won’t be with my hard...
