Crispier than my childhood dreams of becoming an astronaut, but soft on the inside, like it had a secret heart of gold. The fillings? Oh, my stars. Juicy, tender meat seasoned to perfection, paired with pickled veggies that had just the right amount of tang. The cilantro and jalapeños? A flavor duo so dynamic they could headline a music festival. And don’t get me started on the creamy mayo—it wasn’t a condiment, it was an experience. I took one bite, and my life flashed before my eyes. By the second bite, I knew I couldn’t leave without thanking the culinary genius behind this masterpiece. I actually got up, tracked down the chef (okay, cornered them at the counter), and poured out my heartfelt gratitude. They looked at me like I was a little too invested in this sandwich, but let me tell you, it deserved every word of praise. Final thoughts: If you haven’t had a bánh mì that inspires you to go full-on Nancy Drew to find its creator, you haven’t lived. Five stars, and I’m not above getting this sandwich tattooed on my arm.

I haven't been to 56 kitchen in a while and I'm so glad I went back! Easy parking for food is also one of my favorite things and there's plenty of it here because it's in a plaza. We went pretty crazy with the appetizers because they all sounded too good! The brussel sprouts with the balsamic definitely do not love them but these were to die for. The hummus? Fabulous. The buffalo cauliflower... Now that had to be my favorite. It was truly remarkable and I definitely recommend it If you ever venture out that way. They have a pretty extensive cocktail menu and a few craft beers on tap. It's very spacious inside and they're following covid guidelines fantastically. The staff here is incredible. Every time I've been there what I believe to be the manager and/or owner always comes over personally and asks us how our experience was. I think that that definitely sets 56 kitchen apart from a lot of others. The bartender/server we had as well was very kind. I wish I remembered her name. For my entry I got the veggie pizza with the vegan cheese. I think I could have just ordered the crust and been happy because that stuff tasted so good. I added arugula and onions to the pizza. Definitely check the spot out!

We do dinner out Fridays often unless the weather is very nice. 56 Kitchen is a regular visit, it is an awesome place to go. The food is gourmet, the atmosphere is fun, the drinks are special. Often times I order one of the specials. The menu has entrees, sandwiches, and pizza pies, all great. Tonight there is a menu change in the works and no specials so I ordered the Arugula & grapefruit salad (I was afraid there would be too much grapefruit, there wasn't) made with pine nuts / fennel / olives / pickled fresno / red wine vinaigrette, and added a piece of lightly seared salmon. I like to eat only half my dinner and save the other for lunch later, this was tooooo good. I ate the whole thing! For my cocktail i did the "Kitchen Margarita" made with Milagro Silver / Cointreau / Lime / Jalapeno Simple / Cucumber. On a Hot humid evening, it was perfect! We are here again. Always excellent. Had to post the photo of the 4 Cheese Bianco Star Pizza. When great tasting food looks special it adds to the great expierience. 9/23, Rumer has it, Brad took the bar onions when he left. If you order a Gibson, it will come garnish free.

We do dinner out Fridays often unless the weather is very nice. 56 Kitchen is a regular visit, it is an awesome place to go. The food is gourmet, the atmosphere is fun, the drinks are special. Often times I order one of the specials. The menu has entrees, sandwiches, and pizza pies, all great. TRYING A NEW RESTAURANT. THE PLACE WAS NOT FULL. FRONT TABLES AS YOU WALK IN HAD 4 OCCUPIED. THE BAR HAD NO ONE SITTING THERE AND WE WERE THE ONLY HIGH TOP SEATED. PLENTY OF STAFF

I ORDERED THE SALMON, MEDIUM WELL...

Pan Seared Salmon $28.00 citrus almond rice with ginger, garlic, fresno, dried cranberry, steamed broccolini, ginger honey glaze

THE SALMON WAS BURNED BEYOND RECOGNITION. TASTE BURNT THROUGH OUT. I WOULD SAY IT LOOKED LIKE SALMON JERKY. THE RICE HAD MORE CRANBERRIES AND ALMONDS THAN RICE. THE BROCCOLINI WAS MUSH COVERED IN SOME KIND OF OLIVE OIL OR SAUCE. THE WERE NO DELICATE TASTE OR LIGHT FLAVOR IN ANYTHING. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED.

THE WAITRESS SEEMS TO BE WORKING THE BAR, HIGH TOPS AND MOST TABLES IN FRONT. SHE WORKED HER BUTT OFF. SHE WAS MAKING ALL DRINKS, ORDERS AND CLEARING TABLES BY HERSELF. NO ONE WAS EVEN BUSSING TABLES. YET I SAW OTHER STAFF SITTING AT TABLES TOWARDS THE BACK NOT SEEMING TO DO ANYTHING. WHEN SHE ACCIDENTALLY DROPPED A DIRTY PLATE, A FELLOW STAFF FINALLY GOT UP AND ASKED IF SHE NEEDED HELP.

I have only done on online review once before. This was just not the evening out we expected to enjoy. Based on that I cannot recommend. There are obviously some...
