For having an ā€œopenā€ kitchen, there is no care taken for wearing gloves or cross contamination. Witnessed one cook not wearing gloves, touching raw bacon and then using his bare fingers to check the temperature of sausages cooking. Gloves need to be worn when touching prepared food that goes to a customer. Gloves need to be changed after touching raw meat. The cook used his bare hands to move cooked sausages from the grill to plates and then served them to customers. The other cook was wearing gloves, but I witnessed him blow/wipe his nose and he did not change his gloves after. He used the same gloves to continue to cook food that went to customers. Neither cook ever washed his hands or changed gloves. It’s a disrespect for the food industry and lack of professionalism. If you do not have respect for the industry or cannot follow food safety protocols, you should not work in the food industry. I would recommend reading their health score from the Cuyahoga Board of Health violations before...

I used to came to this diner as a child all the time with my parents and grandparents. It was our favorite place to go as a family, the food was amazing as was the staff. I moved to Florida about 8 years ago but I came back to the area last week to visit family. I decided to take my boyfriend and friend in for breakfast since they had never been and I can safely say it hasn't changed a bit in the best way possible. The food and atmosphere were the exact same and all of us genuinely enjoyed being there so much to the point we went everyday for breakfast until we left for Florida again after a week. Love this place, love the people, the food and most importantly their hot chocolate. All the staff there was amazing but Lisa and Malachi made it the most enjoyable their energy and love for the place just radiates off of them into their work. Anyone visiting or hasn't been before I encourage you all to go, trust me it is so much more then...

Terrible first and last experience! Stopped in today to grab brunch with my wife at approximately noon. We've heard great things about the restaurant but had yet to go since moving to Solon. We walked in to the restaurant and noticed roughly 5+ employees working and one open booth. We stood and waited for someone to acknowledge us with a "hi" or "welcome". We unfortunately received no welcome and just stood at the front being looked at by the staff who never provided any direction on what to do or even mentioned that they'd be right with us. A customer that happened to be standing near the front door, informed us that he thinks you're supposed to seat yourself at which time a clearly angry employee snipped at us "Yeah. Ya seat yourseeelf!" while shaking her hear and rolling her eyes. We went to grab the booth and sat for a minute before we decided to just leave due to the lack of acknowledgement and the rudeness of the...

Took my boys here for breakfast as a little mom and boys date. We were welcomed as soon as we walked into the door and told to choose where we would like to sit. We sat down and we were shortly greeted by our server who brought crayons and paper to keep the boys distracted šŸ˜ service was quick seems she turned around and had our drinks out! I was ready to order so she took our order and not even I would say 10 minutes our food was ready!! My oldest’s French toast sticks took a few minutes extra but well worth the FEW minute wait! Overall 10/10 experience can’t wait to come back! P.S. if you had good service, good food, and a good time they have a bell you can ring on the way out. The kids LOVED this and let’s just say 3 bell rings from us! šŸ’• (In my picture I had already sampled the eggs and toast šŸ˜‚) not pictured is the Mickey Mouse shaped pancake my youngest got šŸ’œ
