D & R Bagels — Restaurant in Solon

All of those people saying good things about this hell hole probably got paid to do it. I paid $10.00 for a cream cheese and lox bagel and a dixie cup of tuna salad. The prices here are ridiculous. They trick you into thinking that the prices are low by just writing things like "Cream cheese and lox bagel" with a low price on the menu, then the person making your food keeps asking you if you want extra stuff on it and pickles and extra cream cheese and extra lox and the little portions of salad on the side. After getting tricked into buying all that, I ended up paying $10.00, and the guy making my bagel got all sarcastic and rude after I asked why it was so expensive. I figured it was going to be a pretty tasty bagel after paying $10.00 for it, but I was definitely disappointed. The bagel was hard and stale, the lox tasted funny, and the cream cheese was disgusting. The spoon full of tuna salad was decent, but nothing special. I still can't believe that I got tricked into paying $10.00 for that garbage. On top of that, that bagel gave me indigestion. I should've known to walk out before I placed my order, because the place was empty during lunch hour and there were flies flying around the deli. Never buy anything from this place. For the money that it costs, you can go somewhere else and get more food for half the price. $10.00 for a frigging bagel. Still...

Disappointing Experience - Unsafe Conditions and Limited Options

My wife and I, currently expecting, visited D&R Bagels in Solon at 1:20 PM, 40 minutes before their scheduled closing time. We were shocked to find the floors completely wet from mopping without any warning signs, posing a serious slipping hazard. The staff seemed more focused on closing tasks than serving customers; one was sweeping the back while ignoring us, and the other informed us that the grill was closed.

Despite our arrival well before closing time, it felt like they were more interested in shutting down early than providing quality service. We couldn't help but wonder how much business they might be losing due to this lack of willingness to take incoming orders. Sadly, this visit fell far short of our expectations and left us...

I was there today at lunch hour and was not impressed at all. The food that I picked up was just OK but what really turned me off was the rude staff. I was getting a coffee and after I returned to the register to see if my food was ready, I asked this girl if my food was ready and she turned around with a super snotty look and said to me " I have NO idea. Who was helping you? " so I pointed to that girl and said "her" and then the girl that was helping me gave me my food. The other rude girl exactly knew what she was doing to me ... She was being rude and she knew it. Disgusting service. Never going back, will be telling...
