I only shop on line. JC does not seem to coordinate well between the warehouse and stores. If you have an item in your cart you expect it to be there when you order. I sent my order, not unaware that two items were no longer in my cart. Even though previously they were there, i found out by checking my receipt they were gone. After much confusion JC replied that the items would be at the store. Why???? I asked...they were in my cart when i ordered on line, i do not want to go to the store. The warehouse sent them to the stores. So ok, i went to a store...hum..guess ..they didn't have them...yes, i was upset..they were for Christmas. I sent my order the middle of Nov. This is absolutely ridiculous Customer service...

I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a dress for a wedding in Somerset and was half expecting to have to drive up to Lexington. I decided to check out JC Penney first and I was pleasantly surprised. They had a nice selection and they had some awesome sales going on. The staff were so helpful. The cashier even went the extra mile to let me know that if I pull up their website on my phone there was a coupon that I could use.
I hope they continue to get business even though they're in a outdated and half...
Read moreThought I'd visit and make a purchase but should have thought twice. Went to Sephora in JC Penny and it was very cramped, employees were hard to find and very rude. I asked for assistance and nobody would help. It was a disgraceful selection of product as well. Lexington Sephora is so worth the drive. Smiling helpful faces that come to you with a very wide variety of product for your like. If you can't make it to Lexington Sephora, just go to Belk for your cologne needs. At least the employees have common sense of how to treat a customer....
