Recently purchased a scratch and dent stove from them. Product matched exactly what was advertised on Facebook. Buying process was simple, easy, and matched by a high level of professionalism. I was interested in a different stove that had already sold, but the owner took the time to show me eventually he had in stock that was close to it, which was a customer service effort that you just don’t find anymore. After purchasing they loaded the stove for me and I thought we were finished. However, after getting home and getting a new cord for the stove I found that the digital control panel wasn’t working. I messaged asking for help and was instantly met with a phone call (outside of business hours). After discussing the problem and explaining that I thought it was due to a short in the oven I was offered to bring the stove back and have it replaced with a tested and functioning one no problem. The next day the owner sent me a few messages both showing me the replacement stove they had already gotten ready for me (which was an exact match to the one I purchased) and going over how the stove needed to be hooked up correctly, even offering to go ahead and hook up a cord to the stove to help me. We even discussed the differences in amps of 220 plugs, which the owner suspected may have been an issue. Under his advisement that my plug may be an issue instead of the stove I ended up replacing my outlet with a new one which took care of the issue altogether allowing the stove to work and preventing me having to load it back up and drive back to Somerset. I offered an apology to the owner but he wouldn’t have it and simply thanked me for the business. I can honestly say that I’ve dealt with other scratch and dent dealers in Somerset, as well as surrounding areas, and have never been treated as well as this experience - in a few instances being told “you thought it as is, deal with it”. Old school “customer comes first” style of service is non-existent anymore. To find a business that puts that motto first is such a relief. I can’t thank the owner enough for taking time out of his day to continuously message and help me. If you’re looking for both a good deal and fantastic service I can not recommend this...

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from Somerset Home Center, and couldn't be more pleased with the experience! The gentleman working the showroom was extremely friendly and helpful, and wasn't afraid to give an honest opinion on what they did or didn't have in stock. Moreover, he wasn't pushy and was more than happy to answer my questions, even when I told him that I was just shopping and wouldn't be making a purchase right then.

When I stopped by, they were a little low on stock, but they still managed to find something to meet my needs. I ended up paying a little more than I had planned, but ended up getting a much nicer washer than I had planned for as well. In the end, I got a higher end unit for what I would've paid for a more basic offering at Lowe's.

As an aside, the folks at Somerset Home Center stood in stark contrast to their competition across town at Patriot Commodities, or DIY Supply, or whatever they're calling themselves. Over there I found a lot of overpriced junk and a rude employee working the front desk. Somerset Home Center, on the other hand, seems to be much more discerning about the inventory they take in, and are much more pleasant to work with.

At the end of the day, I'm more than happy with my experience at Somerset Home Center, and I'll definitely be checking with them first when it comes time to upgrade my range and refrigerator...

My wife and I were shopping for a new refrigerator while checking prices one some other appliances. Somerset Home Center was our last stop in town (we honestly didn’t know it existed until the day we were shopping) and it will be our go to for anything we need from now on for our home! Everything in here was in very good condition, while also having better prices than any other appliance store around. The owner was very informative and personable without being pushy or phony just to get a sale. After some discussion we decided to take some time to think about our purchase, and came back an hour later to find out he had passed up on a sale to keep his word to us until we gave him a decision. On top of all this, he gave us an even larger discount than we originally talked about and even threw in a desk as a gift for our 3 year old son. They were very lenient with us allowing us to pick up multiple items at different times. At no point in the process did we feel rushed or pressured.
