I cannot say enough good things about The Goods! For a while, I have been a customer and have always been happy with the product, prices, and energy of the place. But now knowing how well they treat artists, I am a fan for life. Recently the team has started exploring art popups in their meeting space - I pitched my concept for a retrofuturist popup to the manager Alex and hosted a Cosmic Coupe event during the weekend of Somerville's Artbeat festival - I was blown away by the support the team gave me, both letting me use the (air conditioned!) space and tables, designing and posting physical flyers and projecting animated versions on screens, and directing people toward my booth throughout the day.
The time flew by both days, and it was by far the most successful event I've hosted for my relatively new small business. If I could give 10 stars I would, this team truly means it when they say they support the community, and their values are spot on. There are quite a few dispensaries in the area now, but your money will go the farthest and have the most positive impact...
Read moreI like the store a lot but every time I go to pay there is some sort of a mix up.
Today the store manager overcharged me by $9 plus, which store error he corrected when I pointed it out. He said the amount charged the customer is printed on the receipt, which was $9 more than I owed. He printed out a second receipt that was correct. I have both receipts.
After having corrected the error, he kept saying he didn't understand the problem. How could he not understand the problem if he had corrected it?
I felt as though I had to apologize for asking for the sum to be corrected because he is a large male and his manner approaches taciturn. He reminds me of a person who is stoned, unable to think proactively, and who has forgotten (how?) to be friendly, and conciliatory, AT LEAST when the store is in error.

After helping me understand tinctures and then leading me through a series of questions, he gave me his sincere recommendation, even though he knew he did not carry the product (but could have easily led me to buy something he carried). When I asked where I might find the product, he did not hesitate in making a suggestion.
