Twain Harte Rentals — Local services in Sonora

We have been coming to Twain Harte off and on for years. Sometimes renting and sometimes staying with friends. Our cabin, Dogwood, was a pure delight. It was spacious and well maintained. Except for our clothing and food everything was provided. From bedding to towels and the kitchen had more than what we needed to cook and serve meals. The upstairs could be closed off if you have young children (the stairs are quite steep if you have mobility issues). It was warm and we were able to cool off the upstairs with fans and a small air unit. The two bedrooms downstairs were perfect. The large deck was a dream. It had front and back gates so if you are staying with children they can be contained. Also the cabin gets a lot of shade from the trees. Lake access is a bonus. The location was perfect. We loved our stay at East Tree cabin. The renovation of this space was thoughtful. The home was beautifully decorated with all modern conveniences. With AC, though we didn’t use it. Fantastic oven range and dishwasher, lovely dining space and cabinets with ample counter space. Refrigerator that made ice as well. There was also inside laundry however we didn’t need it. The bathroom was amazing. The rain water showerhead, and the jet wand were perfect to wash away the dust of hiking. The shower bench coupled with the eucalyptus and Cypress bouquet turned the shower into a spa. OMG the beds were so comfortable. The MOST comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a rental. We had the absolute best time during our stay at the Julian Family Cabin. It is very spacious, charming, has every amenity, kitchen gadget, etc. that you could want or need, and we loved and appreciated the love and family history this home has. There was a maintenance item that needed to be addressed while we were there for our visit, but Ashley was "Johnny on the Spot" and had it taken care of very quickly with very little to no inconvenience to us. We were very happy with the level of service we received and look forward to visiting Twain Harte and the Julien Family Cabin again in the future.
