We bought the KLËARVŪE closet system. The problems began with pickup. They went to load the nearly 500lb double pallet onto our trailer and told my husband he would have to PAY for the MDF board they had wrapped it to. After he refused to pay for it or help them and they were going to have to hand load it right there in front of the store (like they wanted him to do) they changed their mind 🤣 That was our mistake though, because after unwrapping it we realized the binding had damaged the edges. Luckily they were inside edges and the damage could be hidden. What couldn't be hidden is the melted plastic stuck to the boards. The pictures were taken after I tried scrubbing it off. I accidently chipped a the wood pulling off a bigger piece of plastic. I will need to find a special cleaner 🤞 Things went downhill from there. We were prepared for self installation, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS, nor any links to video instructions anywhere with the package. The wood is SUPER CHEAP with the screws ripping out constantly with to much pressure applied. As you are required to apply pressure to put the shelves onto the screws in the wood, it's inevitable you will be ripping out at least a few. The edges are easily damaged just sliding one board off of another. Even after getting the whole thing put together it looks like TRASH up close because of all the holes. You don't see those is the advertisement for these closets... I get that it's customizable, but they could at least provide inserts or applicable strips or SOMETHING to cover the HUNDREDS of holes all over this thing. We are keeping it because if we tried dismantling it more damage would be caused and we wouldn't get our money back, but we will ABSOLUTELY NOT be buying more of these systems for our other rooms. The good points? The best thing I can say is the ucreate option let us design it online and, instore, Craig was Super helpful. The closet itself looks good from a distance... Save yourself time, money and frustration. Go to Lowes. I will be next time.

Store is absolutely huge! The architect went overboard with the open pavement. For a simple project I had to walk 5 miles to collect all the items needed. The outside lumberyard is obnoxiously large. I had to walk what seemed like a half mile outside just to get a standard 2x4.. and what do they expect you to do in the winter??? I’m not going to go inside, pay, drive around and through the lumber yard for a 2x4.. the only stock they have inside is “premium” at double the price. I’ll drive a little further to the Mishawaka menards which is appropriately sized and still stocks 99% of what I need If you’re a professional builder who does his own shopping in person (not typical) it might be great, but that’s really not menards typical client.. not sure what they were thinking with this one..

My wife and I went to buy a new bathroom sink, faucet and miscellaneous items. We found a sink & faucet we liked. Get to the register and they were charging $40 more for the faucet. They had it marked wrong & wouldn’t honor it. We looked more and kid working that department looked and showed us the faucet that tag was for. Well it already had a tag, not like this was just put on the wrong one. After looking, I was irritated and decided to just go to Lowes! I’ve spent 10’s of thousands of dollars in this store. But they are gonna be my last choice for awhile. Lowes is right down the street and as much as I drive for work, there’s other options.

Good service, friendly staff. Management runs a tight ship at this location. They are at a disadvantage with logistics because the bigger stores are more technology enabled with touch-screen enabled pick-up in receiving and a bigger receiving area. They are currently the smallest store in the Menards fleet of hundreds of locations nationwide, so their selection can be limiting (they do not stock lumber, for example, whereas the Mishawaka location has a full lumber yard). They have, however, acquired an old K-Mart location and are slotted to open a very large, two-floor, Menards location with a full stock selection and lumber yard across from Lowes within the next year or two. Lowes is already nervous and running 11% off offers on their receipts for return purchases simply to entice would-be Menards customers to shop them instead. Coming from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where there are many large, two-floor Menards, this new location is very much welcome. When the new much larger Menards store opens just down the road, this location will close.

I have been a Menards customer for 24 years. No company is perfect, and I am very unhappy with Capital One taking over the Menards Credit Card Services as Capital One has terrible customer service when a system mistake is made (for example, you can only write into their disputes department, no in-bound calls, and their written responses are one or two lines and look like the work of high-school dropouts). However, Menards as a whole remains a friendly and personable team - every Menards location. If you have experienced differently, consider how perhaps an employee may be mirroring your own bad attitude. Come with a smile, a positive attitude and armed with benefit-of-the-doubt, and with very little exception you will be treated fairly at all Menards locations. This is why Menards is successful and why Mr. John Menard is among the wealthiest in America and the wealthiest man in Wisconsin.

I do hope Laura, the current General Manager, is transfered to the new larger store. She deserves to remain at the helm as she has been with Menards through several store transfers between states over many years and is highly dedicated to quality...

CANCLED MY MENARDS CREDIT CARD. WILL NEVER GIVE MENARDS MY BUSINESS AGAIN. THIS PLACE SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!! Took some stuff back I'be had laying around the garage for a while. I looked it up and said it came from Menards so I was over in South Bend meeting with a friend for lunch and so I stopped in to check to see if I paid for it with Menard credit card. They couldn't locate it so I thought I just didn't want to hold onto 3 little things I would never use again that added up to $150 and just get a srltore credit. I even checked to make sure the store stocked it. Well they wanted me to fill out paperwork and leave the stuff there. Well if it was that ugh trouble I would just take my stuff th me and research and find the receipt and just get my cash back. We this overly tan manager with a really nasty and stares at me like I was some kind of piece of trash and refused to give my stuff back Tom me. Yeah I lost my cool and I shouldn't have but I have never ever in my life been treated like that. The store is run down, dirty and the front counter girl had a big hickey on her neck. TRASH!!!! So was just a simple task has turned out to be a big fiasco. I found my receipt tonight. I told them it was purchased couple months ago, but in al honesty I was wrong, it was a year ago. Still packages were never opened and I was treated like a criminal. Instead of wearing blue jeans and nil team shirt, hat and coat on my relaxful Sunday, I should have wore my shirt tie early. But the manager who looks like she's addicted to tanning beds is a complete unjustified unprofessional person. I am going to do a community reach out because I learned also that I'm not the only one with A cpmplaint. I had a employee outside after I lost my cool say that manager was rude to everybody and described her...
