Taco Bell — Restaurant in South Bend

Went for breakfast. Our burritos and crunchwrap you could tell were left on the grill a little too long, as they were burnt a little which threw the flavor profile off. Also the hashbrowns were well past when they should have been served. They weren't hot and they were to crunchy for my husband or I to eat them (I have braces and his teeth aren't strong). This was the first time that I have taken him to Taco Bell for breakfast (becasue we hardly ever go there for any meal), because I actually like their breakfast compared to other fast food places, especially for the price of the box deal. With the food not being to hot, the wraps being to burnt that threw the flavor off, and the hashbrowns being to crunchy it kind of threw his experience off for what I hyped it up to be. Granted this is the first time I have gone to this location for their breakfast...but usually the others have been better than the experience we had at this one. Then the atmosphere was just off, we stayed inside to eat since we had errands to run, and the workers were just talking a lot of smack about their night crew and also about others that they work with that complain about hours, etc..If you talk about that type of stuff just make sure your customers don't hear it. I get there's drama everywhere you go but an establishment of any fast food, you shouldn't have to sit and try to enjoy a meal with the workers talking a whold bunch of smack. Also nobody greeted us, nor did they even thank us when we got our food. We placed order...

I don’t know what type of oil this location is using, but all of their food is inedible. Most of the new cantina chicken items require oil, things like Mexican pizzas, cinnamon twists, etc. all have this horrible taste…I don’t know what it is. This location needs to be investigated. It’s dirty, the food quality is questionable, and the employees don’t care at all. Debating on getting the health department involved with how bad this location has become. DO NOT GO HERE!

Edit: Gave them another chance and have decided it needs to be shut down! Placed a mobile order and pull up to the drive thru with no cars. Tell the person I had a mobile order and immediately get yelled at that all Door Dash orders must come inside. Clarified it was just a mobile order and again was told I’m not allowed to pick up in the drive thru because it blocks the other traffic and makes their numbers look bad so the manager is always yelling at them. There was no one else there. After arguing with the kids inside, I pull around and wait 20 minutes for my food. I’m so angry at this point I just grab the food and leave. Get home and not a single item is right. I have no idea whose order they gave me, but it wasn’t even close to mine. I won’t be coming back to this location again. And I’m not going back to fight this battle, I’m just going to contact corporate. Hopefully the health department comes in and shuts...

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Normally I am not one to complain when something is messed up, but there were 3 mistakes in my one order with a high level of disrespect and unprofessionalism from the staff. My family and I did have a big order. But I spoke clearly and paused between each item. I watched it come up on the screen exactly as ordered. When we got to the window we got our order but were missing 2 drinks. The worker proceeded to tell us that we didnt order them.... But gave them to us anyway. We parked to eat as we were on a long drive. We were missing 1 taco from the 3 taco meal. We were not going to say anything at first but the 2 tacos we did receive had almost no toppings on them. So we asked for another taco. The male worker that dealt with the situation was friendly and corrected the order for us. Then when I opened my cheese quesadilla there was no sauce and hardly any cheese on it at all. When we approached to correct the third mistake we saw 2 employees either physically playing or fighting with each other in the lobby. A female worker approached us and was very unfriendly but corrected the quesadilla. When we politely tried to mention that there had been multiple mistakes she said "well I didnt make those mistakes" and shut the door in our face.
