Acapulco Tropical Your Family 14th — Local services in South Bradenton

Everyone that works here is really nice with the occasional employee that doesn’t speak a lick of English which is fine for me because i speak Italian so I can somewhat get through that conversation.......Outside that, I’ve given this location a hand full of opportunities to knock it out of the park with every time being subpar, today was the last straw. I went in and ordered a crab roll which was descent and also a simple egg and bacon on a torta, I was stoked to enjoy it and just thought today would be the day to change my opinion, it was NOT....The eggs were cooked but the torta was caked with butter and the bacon was so undercooked it’s as if it was thrown in a microwave for 1 minute and mixed in with the cooked eggs.....I am not kidding, it was shy of being cold. Bacon should never be undercooked and furthermore never be cooked in a microwave, which I am 101% it was. I’m assuming it’s the same owner that own the original AT and if so, you need to inspect what you expect because that was a poor excuse for served food.

I must say the 2 stars are based solely on the nice service of the ladies at the counter, if it were for the food I’d give it 1 star for sure. Hope you all get it right, great location but there is zero “WOW” factor in the food.

The store itself is very nice with a great selection. There's no reason to go back though. I've been there twice. The first time it felt like I wasn't wanted there. I'm not Latin and leave it at that. I went again a few months later, thinking I was imaging things. I was not. I took my teenaged son to show him different selections from conventional grocery stores. After a few minutes he longer wanted to be there. He didn't even want to order from the deli. He said he felt like he wasn't wanted there. I've never understood racism from a business view point. Money spends the same no matter what you look like. At Acapulco Tropical you apparently have to be Latin for your money to be welcomed there. Which is a shame because in America everyone should be welcome but I guess that little corner of Bradenton's not America. It's a shame, it's a very nice establishment staffed by...

This place is a joke. I went to buy food when i got to the food counter the big girl(jady) that was there was extremely RUDE She seems like she did not wan't to be there. I asked her questions about the food. Her answer was if u not ready let me help someone else. Like if i was holding the line. I deside to order. Rice beans and carnitas. when i got home I've notice i didn't get any bean's. I was so mad, not only that but the food was cold. The food was tasteless😬😤🤢 $10.00 WAS alot for the food i gotten. I will never go back to that place ever again. They need to train people of how to talk to costumers otherwise you won't have any...
