Unfortunately, I need to come back with a more honest reply—especially after noticing a sudden wave of 5-star reviews since my original post. I feel it’s only fair to share a full follow-up. A couple of days after my fix appointment with Nicole, I noticed a long chunk of hair cut at the corner of my head. It sticks straight out—ironically, right after she told me I have a ā€œsquare head,ā€ which this cut only makes more noticeable. I had planned to stay quiet, but seeing so many glowing reviews roll in, I worry others might end up with the same experience. My first appointment was with Anna, and I’m not sure if this issue came from her cut or the adjustment, but it’s there. Honestly, at this point, I can’t tell if this is a prank. To make matters worse, less than a month after Anna’s permanent dye, my brown is already showing. I’m sharing this so others have the full picture before booking—especially before investing the $200+ I did for a result I now feel self-conscious about. Update: I really appreciate that the owner, Nicole, followed up and invited me back for a fix. Nicole took great care of me this time and genuinely listened to what I wanted (she trimmed A LOT of hair & gave me a better frame and style that complements my hair type and head shape). I left feeling much better about my hair. I appreciate their willingness to take responsibility and make it right. That means a lot, and it's the reason I’m updating my rating. I’m glad I gave them another chance. Original: I rarely write bad reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience in case it help others to think through before booking. I came in wanting to go back to my natural hair color and get a basic haircut: thinning, layers, and face framing. To be fair, I like the permanent color they put on me. However, it was not rinsed thoroughly at all. By the fourth wash at home, a noticeable amount of color was still coming off, which made me question how well the dye was processed or rinsed. As for the haircut, unfortunately, it didn’t turn out at all like the reference photos I shared. After drying my hair, she quickly snipped in the frame and made a few chops. I asked for a bit more thinning, she did two quick cuts, asked me how I liked it. This happened two more rounds, at this point, I didn’t feel comfortable pushing further like I don’t know how to guide a stylist step by step. I left feeling disappointed that the cut didn’t resemble what I had shown her at all. It looks like a I put a wig on myself. I think my before is better than after… I did follow up via text to kindly ask if I could come back for a small correction to the cut, but unfortunately, I never received a reply. It’s disheartening when communication drops off after a service, especially when the price point suggests a higher level of quality and care. While I understand this salon may specialize more in blonde balayage (which they seem great at based on their portfolio), I believe, as a salon, stylists should be better trained with basic haircuts and darker colors. I really wanted to love my hair and support the salon, but sadly, the overall experience left me feeling overlooked and unsure if I’d return.

Can’t say enough about this place, my hair health has noticeably improved since I moved over to the Hair Boutique. I book with Morgan for alternating full and partial highlights and haircuts. I’m pretty picky about my hair but since my very first visit she’s created the perfect cool tone blonde for me, every time. I look forward to my appointments, everyone is professional, personable, and knowledgeable so you feel very comfortable. Pricing is better than most places around with a higher quality of service, in my opinion/experience. Thank you, Morgan! 😊

I have been a loyal client of this salon for years, and there's a reason for that. Nicole, the owner, is an incredibly talented and true professional. She has been coloring, cutting, and styling my hair for over 15 years, and I've always left feeling fantastic. The salon itself is lovely and spotlessly clean, which makes for a great experience every time.

When I can't get in with Nicole, I book with Shaelyn. She is also fantastic with hair and has a wonderful personality. Both Nicole and Shaelyn are top-notch stylists I would highly recommend without hesitation.

I've also had my hair colored by Zoe. Unfortunately, she did not match the high quality of service and professionalism, I received normally at the salon. Therefore, I can't...
