I think the owner should be more transparent regarding all sales being final. I purchased a veil here, that was extremely overpriced, and attempted to return it the next day. I was told “All sales are final” which was printed on the receipt after I purchased it (by which time it’s already too late). Most businesses advertise somewhere in their store “All sales final,” but there was no warning present in her store. I thought her behavior was unethical, so I attempted to dispute it with my credit card, but lost the dispute since her receipt indicated all sales were final. I recommend buying your wedding dress at Needlemans in South Burlington. I paid $1,450 for my dress, and tried on a very similar dress at Veilmonte that was $3,000 and didn’t have any beading or jewels like my dress did.

Response to owners response: I was never informed verbally in either instance that all sales were final, if I did, I wouldn’t waste my time writing this response. I also didn’t wear any of the jewelry I purchased from Veilmonte, the necklace belonged to my great grandmother who passed away two years ago, and the earrings belonged to my grandmother who attended my wedding from New Jersey. The dress fit perfectly and was of great quality, I’m surprised to read the owners criticism’s of my dress when no such criticisms were said during my veil appointment in April. I also don’t recall the beading falling (even in the pouring rain on my wedding day). I felt beautiful in my wedding dress and can’t wait to wear it again when we get married in the Catholic church next year. I received hundreds of compliments on my dress which is why I would recommend Needlemans to anyone over Veilmonte, especially since the owner insults peoples wedding dresses online after verbally saying how beautiful it is in person. I originally had an appointment at Fiori, but the selection of dresses that I found on her site was minimal. I inquired about this, but was not informed that there would be the dresses I was looking for in her store. I trusted my gut and rescheduled with Veilmonte. I was able to pick the dresses from her site and she got all, but one in store for my appointment. The boutique is adorable, private and I was able to have 6 of my maids, my mother and a close friend attend with me. We brought champagne and a charcuterie board and had THE BEST TIME. we went through countless dresses.... If I'm correct I tried on at least 20 and all were gorgeous, but the first one was the one and she brought me back to it and we just knew. This was the easiest dress purchase and Marina is the sweetest. The dress we found in her store was so me and was then handmade for me in Maldolva. When it arrived the fit was perfect. Absolute perfection! In the meantime I lost about 10lbs and three days before the wedding I was directed to her seamstress, Mariana Nitalea, who took in my dress just three days before the wedding and was sooo affordable. They even sent my dress with a piece of the same material so I could have my husband's tie and pocket square made to match. I returned to Veilmonte to have the dress professionally cleaned and I just picked it up last night. I'm blown away.... You would never know it was covered in espresso martini, jager bombs & rum punch from a wild night of celebrating on our big day. It's as good as new! From the moment I scheduled my first appointment to pick up last night I'm over the moon satisfied with my experience with Veilmonte Bridal. If you want a great experience, a wonderful selection of dresses, a range of price points and a wonderful person to work with ....Veilmonté is the place for you. I'll be recommending for years...

I got married this past weekend and couldn’t be happier with my dress. I started my dress hunting journey in the fall of 2024 and left every appointment at other local places feeling disappointed. Not only was I able to find the dress of my dreams, but I was able to afford it without fear of breaking the bank in the process.
