Dolce Salon — Local services in South Elgin

I don't even know where to begin to tell my story, but long story short I had a hair emergency and I walked into Dolce hair salon and Robyn the owner welcomed me even though I was a late walk in. I honestly think she felt bad for me and wouldn't let me leave looking like a hot mess. She definitely is a person of integrity and compassion. Now I'm not saying go to the salon without an appointment ok..😂 I do look forward to my next appointment with Jeanette on April 4th. If I could give Dolce salon 10 Stars I would....

I've made appointments on separate occasions for my daughter to have an up-do. The first two times, it was lovely. This most recent, the stylist must not have ever done an up-do before, because all my daughter got for $70 was a bun with a braid and slicked back hair. She was really disappointed, as she was in a wedding and was hoping for something a bit more flattering, maybe tendrils around her face. Certainly what she got was not worth $70, she was home...

I have been in the cosmetology businesses for a long time. My family was in the beauty supply business, I have seen many salon's. I have sold to them and worked in them holding my cosmetology license for years. Dolce, has a great atmosphere, wonderful receptionist, and Krystal is so nice! I have met another cosmetologist there as well, and she was extremely nice. I don't give many reviews, yet this one is well deserved! Keep up...
