Its a wonderful place full of lots of unique items. BUT the prices are high on just some of the basic items. I kinda get the prices for some of the unique items but still...be prepared to spend alot. I tend to shop here every Christmas and I would rate their service about 50/50. Half the workers are very kind and courteous in welcoming you in, helping you find items and nicely wrapping up your purchases. BUT the other half are rude, snobby, and very snippy. I went there with the intention of picking up a $200 gift for my mother and perhaps finding a nice gift for my boss. I had them hold my mothers gift at the register until I was done shopping. But when I started looking at potential gifts for my boss one of the workers followed me practically breathing down my neck and at one point she left but then was suddenly back snapping at me to not touch the Christmas tree ornaments. And I understand that some items are set in a display and they don't want it messed up or because their delicate. I get it I truly do but she did not need to be so rude and snippy to me in saying so and implying at the fact that I could not read the "do not touch sign". The sign which was situated a foot off the floor while the displayed items it was supposed to warn you against touching were at four feet above it. It should have been at eye level along with the items in question. I promptly paid for my mothers gift and left to find a gift for my boss elsewhere. I also would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT bringing your young children here. One its not going to be very fun for them, theres not much to interest a child. Two if you tell a child not to touch something they are most likely going to do the opposite and if they brake something...well be prepared to sell your left arm...
Read more10/17/22. Thank you for your response, Victoria. Actually, as we were leaving, we noticed there was another group of people in the store, and they were picking up things. No one said anything to them even though there were sales people in the room. We were followed all the way to the door, which seemed very uncomfortable. Once we were outside and began discussing our experience, we realized that we had both felt we had been under scrutiny the whole time. Because this has been noted in reviews before, I think it would be worth your while to have your sales people undergo training on unconscious bias. Please remove my name and address from your list. I stand by my review.
I was very embarrassed because I brought a friend from Germany to this shop and we were treated rudely. We were headed out hiking and happened to see the sign, so we stopped in to look at German Christmas ornaments. A woman followed us around the shop like we were criminals and told us not to touch anything. True, we were dressed in hiking gear, but we are well-spoken and polite. I can only contribute the salesperson's behavior to snobbery. I see from other posts that this is not a one-off behavior. I would give the shop a zero if it...

Of note the restaurant is open seasonally from March-mid August and daily hours are...
