I HATE ordering from this place. EVERY time I call I order cheese sauce instead of the garlic sauce, they rarely get it correct, then blame it on the call center, which we repeatedly request the cheese sauce with. It has happened 4 of the last 5 times I have ordered pizza from them at least, giving them credit that maybe a one time by accident they got it right but almost guaranteed to be wrong. This time I told the driver it was incorrect and she walked away from me as I was talking and drove away. Refused to even have a conversation about the problem. Then when I call the store direct, they blame it on the call center avoiding any responsibility. They say they will drive the sauce here but by then either I have already eaten the pizza and have no need for the sauce or I have let the pizza sit and get cold. This is a constant problem at this location or the call center and I have repeatedly called them on this mistake. The store wants no responsibility for getting it right. I have never had this many repeated problems with any other store, company or restaurant I have dealt with. It is clearly a repeated communication issue with the call center they aren't doing their jobs right but ultimately the pizza comes from this location. I finally got them to drive a fresh pizza with the correct sauce to my house this time but I had to fight, they clearly have no desire to get the order right and make the customer happy unless you throw a fit. Why would I ever want to order from this place again. We had pre-tipped the driver $5 what a joke. She didn't even have a suggestion to call the store or the call center, just said that's what was on the ticket and turned and walked away. What a miserable company. I have to select at least one star for the review to post, again should be...
Read morePlaced a phone order an hour before close (phone order took 6 minutes) and although dude on the phone was nice enough, he seemed to take much longer than usual. No worries, I live 50 feet away in the building next door so although they insisted on delivery instead of pickup, I figured it wouldn’t be long. After 45 minutes I called and was told that I had given them the wrong phone number (I gave it to them twice) and that’s why the order hadn’t made it to me yet. The guy on the phone was different than the first I had spoken to and was much more rude; he kept insisting that I give him my apartment number to which I kept responding that the apartment number wasn’t applicable because only residents could get in past a lobby. After an awkward and uncomfortable conversation with this guy, they agreed to come next door to me to try and deliver it again. This time, someone called me to let me know he was on his way and that I should meet him in the lobby, and so I immediately let my boyfriend know in order to not keep him waiting. My boyfriend walked out right away but came back within 60 seconds as he hadn’t grabbed his keys. The guy delivering the pizza called my phone again and his opening line was “Where are you”. When I responded with “my boyfriend is in the elevator” he then hung up. I’ve never experienced this kind of rudeness with Papa John’s and I frequent this location probably once a month as it is literally 50 feet from my front door. Although the delivery guy gave it to my boyfriend for free, we didn’t ask for it to be free, nor did it make up for the unneccesary and uncalled-for bad attitude. I don’t know whether there was a different crew working tonight but it certainly made all the...
Read moreExtremely rude and unhelpful phone people. I was going to complain the first time but now a second time in a row is no accident. They simply do not care. Pizza was good and the service is rude, uncaring and very unhelpful. The first extremely unhelpful man's name was Matt. I will NEVER call to order again since they're so rude. I'll order online for now on if I decide to return. Pizza is good but not great and a bit overpriced. Only worth it if you use a promo code. TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO SIMPLY BE NICE AND HELPFUL ON THE PHONE. With so many very good to excellent pizza restaurants in the Heights area, you would think they'd try harder. Actually, I just changed my mind while writing this. They no longer deserve my families business. Did I mention the terrible phone service? **Five minutes after post........My wife just got home with the pizza and they couldn't even follow online instructions and did not cut in squares. May not seem like a big deal unless you have kids. They offered to make another pizza but she was not going to wait so she paid for the pizza and reveived a 50% off coupon for the error and apologized for the many inexperienced new employees they have (no excuse). So she took the pizza and received another coupon, so I guess we'll be back one last time for 50% off! FIVE YEAR...
