I stopped shopping in this Filipino store after an incident with a cashier named Christine who was very rude to me. She must be one of the owners daughters! Why she acted that way I don’t know? I asked a question, she ignored me. When ready, I called her attention (she was eating ramen behind the counter) she probably didn’t like that? So you can tell she didn’t want to work! She won’t interact at all! When she saw that I have extra plastic in my cart, she lifted it and rolled her eyes! I told her I was gonna put the sweet potatoes in it but I didn’t. She didn’t say anything but she put the sweet potatoes in the plastic bag with very hard force! I would have left that time without buying anything! I’ve been shopping there at least once a month but never encountered such rudeness from staff! Every staff I met there were nice except that one staff! It took me a long time to write this review, I’m really saddened as to how I was treated! It...
Read moreI can't believe I haven't reviewed this store yet as I frequented it a lot before they moved to their new location and after their move. We have attended their Meryenda Cafe pop up and other food events as well as just going into the store to grab groceries. Those events should not be missed as they always deliver on delicious flavors. They always have great updates on their social media of what they have in stock as well as their weekly hauls of fresh produce, noodles, and more. I love that they always try to get popular, viral products too as it can be hard to find those in more mainstream Asian markets.
The staff here are always friendly, patient and helpful. I have never had a negative experience and even when they are packed, they always provide excellent and friendly service. The store itself is well organized and stocked. Happy that they got a new place as the space is definitely being used well and allows them to do...

It's a super small store! If you need your basic sauce but don't want to deal with long lines, this might be the store for you.
We got some fish sauce, snacks, and frozen ban Bao there (didn't know that was a thing!) It is bbq pork flavor and I can't wait to try it.
They have some fresh veggies there too. We got there right when they first opened so she hadn't put everything out yet. I was expecting this to be a little bigger with more selections but it just opened so I hope they expand because there isn't too many asian markets in...
