We decided to drop by on a slow Saturday. We were the only one dining in while people were ordering take out. The hostess greeted us nicely. When we got our order, the food smells amazing. We ordered chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki and salmon teriyaki. The hostess would periodically check in on us to see how we were doing while we eat. I would say the salmon was the best of the three even though the other two was great. The salmon has this crisp outside bite to it and the inside was soft and steamy. The price was reasonable and I would stop by and try the salmon again.

Ordered house fried rice which was $15.79. I thought it was pricier than anywhere else. With everything else, it was a bit over $20.00. It came out just like this in the picture - just lots of rice, a few pieces of veggies and meat! no salad or anything else! Amazingly, prawns were not even fried with the rest, and it was just tossed on top. Of course, it didn’t have any sauce nor any taste. I asked for a cup of hot water, the server said hot tea is for $1.25. Hmmm… this is by far the worst Teriyaki place I’ve ever been to!

Their ebi tempura is not tempura. It is much closer to ebi furai. That is my top issue, because it looks exactly like those you get in Costco (breaded panko shrimp). I was expecting tempura. Even for furai, this style is definitely the ready-made frozen variety that i can make at home. The people who run it seem like very good people, but the food gives me 50/50 success/failure rate. I will not specify which foods are which. I am hoping that they improve their menu quality and consistency.

Love this place! Moved to South Hill in 2023 and this was the first place I tried after much research. Had their Chicken Yakisoba first, ordering online is great because you can customize it a million ways. The only thing I’m not a fan of is how big they cut their chicken pieces but I usually order breast meat but their cook is so good they’ve actually got me eating thigh meat again.

We’ve now had their Yaki, Katsu, Fried Rice and Teriyaki and every dish has been equally as good. Some of the most delicious Teriyaki Chicken Breast but I made the mistake of ordering extra sauce and it was SWIMMING in sauce like a soup so I had to drain it all off at home but that’s not their fault. The only other “ding” against them I’d say is I love broccoli in my Yakisoba and they don’t put much in so I ordered extra one time and they put in a good amount but it was like an after thought, it seems as though they don’t add the broccoli until it’s done so it’s not really cooked at all which sucks. I do like it a little firm but not uncooked. So I just don’t order extra broccoli anymore. Problem solved.

They include a small cup of teriyaki sauce with every dish so far that I’ve seen so you really don’t need to order extra anyway. I like to use their teriyaki sauce on the fried rice and it’s DELICIOUS. I thought the old place where we used to live was good but this place blows them away. The lady at the counter -owner I’m guessing- is always nice and friendly when I go in. It’s a little more expensive than I’d wish but worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place. Thinking I’ll try the salmon...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this teriyaki shop, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.

First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious. I got spicy chicken teriyaki and general tso's chicken. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. Whether you're a fan of chicken, beef, or tofu, they have something for everyone. The teriyaki sauce was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too salty, just right.

What really blew me away was the speed of their service. Despite the bustling lunch rush, my order was ready in record time. It's evident that they prioritize efficiency without compromising on quality. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you won't have to wait long to satisfy your cravings.

In addition to their tasty food and quick service, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for a satisfying meal that won't break the bank.

Overall, I highly recommend this teriyaki shop to anyone craving delicious Japanese cuisine served with lightning-fast service. I'll definitely be returning...

There are six full tables on a Friday evening (5:40) in this little stereotypical strip mall hole in the wall teriyaki restaurant. A skinny ass Asian woman is delivering food and drinks while taking orders at the counter. I even saw her working in the kitchen.

My daughter must have ribs so we are having teriyaki even though I am not in the mood. There is a salmon salad that is the furthest thing from teriyaki on the menu. My daughter enjoys her ribs and even offers me one. Not because they are bad, but because there are so many. Very uncharacteristic.

May salad is five minutes later as she delivers everything as it comes up. If I ran as much as this woman my fat ass wouldn't need a salad.

Well I just ate and a review that was just me killing time has turned into work that no sane person will read. Salmon was not fresh nor did I expect it to be but it was good plus plentiful and the salad was huge.

TL;DR it is what you expect and friendly, ...
