Snelgrove Ice Cream — Local services in South Jordan

We stopped by this ice cream shop during their grand opening, and even though there was a long line (as expected!), they managed everything impressively well. I was really surprised by how organized they were. The line moved quickly, and we didn’t have to wait nearly as long as we thought. They even set up an outdoor area with heaters, which made the wait so much more comfortable—such a thoughtful touch, especially on a chilly day.

We tried the fresh strawberry flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness, and it had that perfect balance of sweetness and real strawberry flavor. It immediately became our favorite.

The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Even with the crowd and the grand opening rush, they stayed upbeat and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

Overall, we had a great first visit. Smooth process, great service, and amazing ice cream—definitely worth the stop! We’ll be coming...

I'm going to start out by saying this is the best ice cream on the face of the planet. But they had a bit of a rocky grand opening. I was very disappointed by the size of the scoops I received, especially considering that many of the other servers were giving far more generous scoops to other customers. However, I was incredibly impressed by the manager. He heard me talking to my sister about the tiny scoops I got compared to hers, and he handled it very well. He gave me some more ice cream to make it right and and a buy one get one coupon for good measure. His comment about "New store, new employees. We're still training some of them" makes me optimistic that the next time I'm here, the portions will be more consistent, so I'm hoping I'll be able to update my review with good news...
