7-Eleven — Local services in South Plainfield

Me and my husband went to the the 7eleven here on park ave and I picked up a star ledger on Saturday and when I went to read the paper I realized that I picked up the Sunday paper in error instead of the Saturday paper not to mention they scanned the paper and the charge was $5.00, so I went back on Sunday just to tell them about the error and to ask if I could get the rest of the Sunday star ledger that I picked up. Well the man at The 7 eleven said I don’t remember you from yesterday like I would lie about getting a paper. I take full responsibility that I didn’t get a receipt and that I didn’t look at the date and realized I picked up the Sunday star ledger. The store clerk was very nasty and saying it’s my fault which I get that but what happened to a little kindness? Me and my husband been going there for over 5 years and never had a problem and I told my husband oh he is a nice guy, we go there all the time I’m sure it won’t be a problem. I was so wrong about him and I will never patronize 7 eleven on park ave in so Plainfield ever again!!!!!!! Nasty customer service!!! The store attendee shooed dad out of the store rather than checking on dad's well-being. Dad panicked from being poorly treated and left, as blisters on his hands and feet formed. Bad service. Older man that works there was mopping the floor. He followed me around the store and watched me make a slurpee. The cup was crack so I threw it away and got another cup. The same man told me I have to pay for the cup I threw out. I told him it was cracked and he went in the garbage and said I still have to pay for it. Does that make any sense?
