Had a 12 o'clock appointment with Tina and Ann for me and my mom for a pedicure. Reached there 10 mins early and didn't mind waiting for few minutes. My mom got called around 12:30 and I never got called for my 12 o'clock appointment. I approached the staff at the front to inquire about the wait time only to find out that Ann started with another client and it was already after 1 pm. Not even an anapology when I asked to cancel my 12 o'clock appointment after finding out that I was completely skipped. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
Dear owner, Thank you for your response and allow me to clarify what occurred on 10/29. My appointment was with Ann and my mom's appointment was with Tina. I made an appointment for my mom first on 10/27 with Tina for a pedicure and then I called on 10/28 to make an appointment for myself with Ann. Sorry to hear about Ann’s stomach cramp and hope she’s feeling better. We’re indeed offered other techs and we did refuse as the plan was to get my mom’s pedicure done by Tina as she’s been my preferred tech for a few of my previous appointments and she’s very sincere. I wanted my mom to get the same experience as I did from Tina and didn’t mind waiting. We’re only told about the 30 minutes wait for Ann and 15 minutes for Tina which turned into 30 min for Tina and over an hour for Ann. Once Tina was done with her appointment my mom proceeded with Tina as there was no confusion or mind-changing from my end. Only conversation I had with Tina after she was done with her appointment was the introduction of my mother and a request for her to take good care of my mom. I wanted to experience services provided by other techs and heard a lot of good things about Ann so I chose her when I made the appointment. What I wrote was 100% true and had left out few of the minor details initially but now stated above. This Google platform was utilized accordingly and everything I had stated is 100% TRUE and my apologies if you are disappointed and think it wasn’t fair. Nothing against Tina and Ann as this is being blamed on the lack of attention to the clients and the fact remains that I was completely skipped and didn’t even get an apology or any explanation as to why I was skipped. I had no choice but to cancel my appointment with Ann after waiting over an hour and finding out she had already started with a new client. VERY...
Read moreArrived here at 3pm, it’s is now 5pm, with my brother, his girlfriend and my husband - first thing I noticed is that we were barely greeted. The salon had a wait of 3 people before us which is fine, we were told 15 minutes. By the time we sat in the chair, 20 minutes had passed, and before our nails were actually started, we had been there for about 45 minutes already. My husband was started first and I was seated next to him. A random woman comes in and is told to sit and do my nails. I thought she was a customer. I noticed she didn’t know where any tools were. She drilled my toes for about 25 minutes and still left old gel polish behind. I mentioned it to her 2x. Now, I notice she didn’t know how to turn on or drain the sink. When she began painting my toes, they were all jagged and different shapes. When I mentioned something, she threw her arms up and told me that she would correct all of it after my nails were painted. I said it looks really bad. The owner came over and took over my nails, the lady who was doing my nails initially, proceeded to go get her things and LEAVE. At this point, everyone I came with has their toes completed. When I asked the owner if she even works here he said “no, she used to but now she doesn’t,” obviously this is untrue as she didn’t even know how to operate the sink. My nails are now being completed by another technician who redid almost everything. My nail beds feel raw but at this point it is what it is. I’m just baffled that someone who doesn’t even work here was touching me. I’ve run several salons and know NJ procedure in displaying licenses / onboarding processes. I don’t care how busy it is, as an employee or owner, you never call a friend or someone who “does nails” to come assist your salon when busy. I’m never...
Read moreLet’s start off by saying I had a appointment @11:45 for Tina (she’s amazing ) but when I got there she was doing someone else’s nails because the guy (the only male who works there ) had an emergency.. I was asked to come back @2 but at my inconvenience I could not because I had something to do … nonetheless I waited patiently until she was done . But then the guy arrived and started to do my nails .. me still patient even though he was not the one I booked the appointment with .. to start he was very aggressive while doing my nails , I’m talking scratching me with the blades , holding my hands extremely hard . I pulled my hand back more than once … so I then tell him like sir “your being rough” he then does to say ur nails are long so he has to be rough ( never heard that before , but okay ) so as he’s applying the acrylic I realize he’s using a completely different color acrylic than what I had prior ( I was getting a fill in ) but I assumed he knew what he was doing so I didn’t say anything , after washing my hands he tells me to pay first because he has to leave out . But that’s not how business goes so I told him I will not unless everyone is doing also ( I feel like it was a race thing ) he gave off racist vibes , he then decided to tell and tell me his workers are scared of me which is not true because they were very nice and we’re will to fix his mistake . Tina who was originally supposed to do my nails and finish them for me and was so sweet . The picture does not do justice. But u can clearly see how horrible he applied the acrylic and how I wasn’t not about to get any design I wanted because u would see two...
