One day I was depressed. My girlfriend cheated on me, my family doesn't talk to me, and my life was in shambles. The only way for me to pull through was to play Magic the Gathering. When I heard about this store, I was skeptical. I've been to previous card shops, so I expected just an ordinary experience. As soon as I arrived to the store, I saw a man behind a counter. He was a divine being with upmost integrity, beauty, and grace that I never believed a man could uphold. I started crying because I never seen someone so magnificent. The man asked me, "why are you crying". I responded to him, "because my life is in shambles and I never believe I can find beauty in life." The man behind the counter said to me, "buy my products." When the golden words traveled to my ear canal, all I can think is to buy the set of Modern Horizons 2. After I purchased this product, I told him about my life's problems. The golden man behind the counter retorted and said "get over it and stop acting like a b**tch". These words resonated to me an I never thought about that in my life. I had an epiphany.

My life proceeded to change for the better. Immediately after we stopped talking, I left with my cards, and decided to take my life seriously. I decided to fight for my girlfriend, get a better job, and I made new friends at this location. My life improved after that interaction all because of RNG Gamez and Rob.

The shop itself is nice, the prices aren’t the worst either compared to others in the area. I want to like this store so bad, but all 3 separate times I’ve come in even after calling before hand to do trades the person I spoke with was rude on every occasion. First time I came in was a Wednesday where I was told I have to come back Thursdays and Fridays for trades. Fair enough I thought. So I come back the very next day and it’s the same employee they had bulk cards they were putting in the system so once again I get asked to come back in a couple hours, come back and it’s still too busy. Mind you during all this the guy behind the counter is being extremely rude. I call the follow day on a Friday a nice girl answers and says yes come on in, I come and get shut down again because “they are too busy” with no one else even in the store. I came at opening which isn’t until 2pm. Forced me to take my business elsewhere instead of shop the store in my town that I’d like to support. Also I wanted to trade these things towards a store credit to buy more products and get cool pulls!! Just kind of seems like they don’t care for your business. The first experience I shared with what I thought was the owner was pleasant and he was super nice. But the guy with the black longer hair is not nice and just standoffish won’t even make eye contact with you and...

I like to get a very good feel of Local Game Store before I put out a rating and typically when I do put out a rating for a game store it’s because that store is worth the time to at least give a good review because trust me there are plenty of Game Shops just in New Jersey that don’t care about customers or how the store is kept. The owner here keeps the store nice, he’s got a good system for buying and selling online and even ways to communicate with customers. The space is well sized and typically every single Wednesday it is packed with an amazing player base of Commander Enthusiasts for Magic: the Gathering. Since I’ve started going here I haven’t been to many other stores and that says a lot since it’s about 1 hour exactly for me to get here vs shops that are 2 miles away.
