Updating my original review after the owner communicated the pricing more clearly than what was offered in-store. The important part is this: The iPad screen repair was 10/10. I had a overall great quality screen replacement and only had a one day turnaround time. Happy to have the screen fixed.
I just want to say now from my earlier review, I am not interested in any refund. I just had a problem when the price quoted to me (109) via website/email to repair my screen did not match the price I was charged (189). This could have been handled via some price haggling or additional questions on my part("but you quoted me this?") but I had my young kid with me and was not up anything that might be confrontational. I left feeling as if I was labeled a chump in person but not via email. I do not believe the owner intended this. The owner states the email I received was a quote for just the part. Not the labor. If the part truly cost 109 and the labor was $80 for 2 hours of work, that is plenty fair. The customer will always value price transparency and a paper invoice (even handwritten is fine) with some clear parts//labor break down would help to inform customers. Every mechanical shop, contractor or repair specialists provides a clear paper estimate with this exact breakdown. Also, if someone asks through your website for a quote on a repair... if you're going to only give them the price of the part and not the whole repair, say "The part is $XXX, cost of repair services will be varied between this and this depending on damage". There are lots of people just like me that just want a simple concrete exchange...
