Tips not required, but tip if you can! Drivers work hard!!!! (You can tip your driver after the delivery by using the Chat on the website to edit your order! Just give them the restaurant name and order number! I like to tip AFTER delivery, not before. This makes it possible to tip! Just contact 2DineIn support, and they can add a driver tip to your original order with the original payment method!!!!
Eli, our driver, was fantastic! Right on time, everything in the order! Stuff was still super hot and fresh! 10/10 stars to Eli!!! š„°š„°š„° an amazing and super prompt and polite driver!!!
Very very reasonable delivery fees. I like that the delivery fee is flat, so that how much you order doesn't increase the delivery fee. Will most likely use again when time requires. I really appreciate that new customers get their first order delivery fee waived. It's a great way to let hesitant people test the service for quality. The site is minimalist, which makes it even better. I don't like the super complex sites with bad lag. This site does what it does perfectly. I really appreciate the transparent costs and being able to track delivery in real time and see the ETA and live driver progress as it updates. Great service, honestly. Consider supporting your local delivery drivers instead of UberEats!!! The delivery fees are way more reasonable and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have tried every delivery service in my area and 2dineIn is by far my favorite. I have been ordering from them since they first opened and Mike was doing his own deliveries. If there is ever a problem with a delivery, they are always quick with a resolution, whether it be redilivery, refund or credits. I understand people want to blame a driver when things go missing or food is late, however, I have had this issue with every service available. It is the restaurant that prepares and packs the food. It's unrealistic to expect the drivers to do anything about that. Do you really want to wait even longer and let your food get colder while a driver unpacks, unwraps and checks your order? When was the last time they got to wash their hands?? Really. When these things happen as they inevitably do, 2dinIn is quick to work with you to find a resolution you are happy with. When I have been forced to use other services because a restaurant is outside their delivery area I have choices between those that delivery my food ice cold or ones that you can only reach by email when something goes wrong, with reps that jerks you around by offereng refunds then trying to take them away again. I am disabled and rely heavily on delivery services, the personal touches this company employs are irreplaceable. I'd give them more...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePerpetually unreliable in knowing whether or not they're open. On any given day or evening, half or more of the restaurants they offer are grayed-out, or so it would seem that way. They are nowhere near as reliable and efficient as UberEats and they spook so easily over rain or snow that they'll shutter their business without notice while everyone else in Maine continues to deliver. One good thing is that they are at least, finally giving a notice on their site that the prices on 2DineIn 'may differ from the menu prices in the restaurant'. i.e., somebody finally came down on them for years of claiming the prices on their site were not bloated or "not changed by us" when, in fact, whether or not it was them or the restaurant, the prices on 2DineIn are indeed routinely higher. Much higher. At check-out, you never know what the total will be until the very last minute. 2DineIn shields their multiple fees, seemingly so that most users won't notice the actual final cost until hitting the 'send' button. A delivery dinner for two is very easily $65-$75+, once you add tip. The drivers are incredibly friendly and professional. When you can speak to someone on the phone, they're also very helpful and kind. But the business itself appears to be run poorly, making it an unreliable...
