It's a decent place to lay your head, but don't expect the best...or even really good. The location is pretty easy to access and connects to a restaurant. (It was too close to closing time for me to try it out.) Upon walking into the building I was overwhelmed with a musty, old smoke smell which was interesting since it's a non smoking hotel. Inside was kept tidy and clean but the years are weighing on this facility and it shows. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant. I did not indulge in the pool, although it was quite large and looked nice enough for a swim and open until 11pm. The rooms are less than stellar. Again, there was a stagnant, musty smell in the room. The floors are tile and I assume vinyl flooring....when I walked in I noticed the floors were tacky so either not cleaned or not cleaned properly (socks all the way). The vent in the bathroom did nothing but desperately try to move in the slightest. The shower was ok, but as with the rest of the facility very outdated. There was a very odd noise coming from between the walls/rooms....sounded like when you blow air over an open bottle... Between the weird noise and hearing every sound from the neighboring room until well after midnight (walls are super thin!), I got little sleep. The bed was a bit squeaky but comfortable nonetheless. I had a great view of a tractor and the side street with a few houses but I closed the blinds and forgot all about it. It was cheap and served it's purpose.

Stayed for three nights, it started off with us being told the shuttle would pick us up from the airport but we were stranded there for over an hour before riding with the Town and Country Driver who offered to help. When we asked what happened the response was “ I don’t know I called him.” No other explanation or apology was given . We requested to have the room cleaned each day when we left in the morning and returned to the room looking the same way despite being told by the front desk that it was done. Additionally, unable to call for help or service because the phone was broken and no attempts to fix it despite requesting help. The toilet was also not bolted down properly and rocked back and forth. We were fearful that it would fall over. Requested that repair as well but no one ever came to fix it. There was no compensation for the multiple issues and lies from staff each day.

Old but nicely updated except the room we were in(109) had broken window outer glass pane which was not repaired for a long while from the look of it. Also felt frustrated on checking in to see no tea bags with the coffee in room. I am a tea drinker and on requesting at the recent they asked me to grab the only green tea option and on asking for black tea they said that is all they can give a d didn't make an effort to get me the black tea which they obviously had as was clear from the breakfast spread out. The breakfast had a good choice but the apples and oranges were small and sub standard and obviously an attempt to save cost which sucks since the one night cost was close to $325!!! I am a Wyndham member and hope someone from the central office is listening to rectify the annoying facts stated here!!😳

Let me start out by saying that I never give reviews unless it is necessary. I travel a lot. For work and pleasure. I stay at an average of at least a dozen different hotels every year. This is the 1st time I can say with 100% certainty that I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We can start with check in, where the associate, although friendly, did not stop flirting with my wife the entire check in process. In fact he flirted with her every time he saw her our entire stay. He even found reasons to venture past the pool repeatedly to wave to her in her bikini. This is unacceptable! Its mothers day weekend and we are swimming with our child and he is waving and staring with googly eyes at my wife. Problem # 2, we get put on the top floor, no big deal, except that the handle on the door in the stairwell pulls right off and we are stuck after hauling all our luggage up 4 flights of stairs with the kid in tow. Fortunatey I am not stupid and figure out how to jimmy the door open and get us out. Being who I am, I then fix the door handle temporarily and I report it to the front desk where I am told it will be fixed right away. The very next day. I pull up after getting food for the family to find the security door at the furthest entry from the desk being propped open with a bucket full of concrete. People freely smoking outside the door right below a sign that clearly states no smoking. One of these people smoking is wearing staff clothing. I wait til they disperse and close the door. Which has not prevented thw cigarette smoke from already entering the hall. Suoer glad I'm on the 4th floor now I climb the stairs to find that the door handle is now on the floor and there is nothing but a hole where it use to be on the door. I now have to use my swiss army knife to pop the oposite handle off to get out of the stairwell. Again, I put it back together so no one else gets stuck and report it to thw 1st associate I can find. Now onto the easiest of my issues with this place... The beds... By far the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. Woke up in so much back pain I was in agony. Now, not everything was bad... The pool was great and had lots of kids around for ours to play with. The hotel was clean. Aside from one night with a couple drunk guests, the place was quiet. And most of the staff was great. However, the best part of this stay.... Checkout! Thank god...

I will cover it all. Ontop of booking they charge $20 that takes (up to a week to be sent back to you) for incedentals, and they do not tell you about it. Not a big deal just let me know. There are barebones staff that don’t seem to try, the pool had a green slime around the edge (so if youre looking for a little get away and a swim think twice) there were people just sitting in their cars with the engine and lights off in the parking lot, all the lobby bathrooms were locked at 7:30am. The breakfast is sausage patties and egg patties you’d find for bulk just heated. But they have a waffle iron which was amazing. I stayed on the third floor and the ice machine room (broken) had a trash can that was full and a dominos box that just had moldy pizza in it that made the whole floor smell disgusting. Didn’t think I’d need to ask the staff to clean up moldy food. I’m guessing they’re isnt daily or even weekly hallway clean ups.... the few staff that spoke English were pretty rude like when I asked them if I could use the lobby bathroom, I get needless rudeness. I’m sorry I just need to pee then go back to breakfast. And do your family a favor and don’t go out after dark, the area is super sketchy. ALSO the bar is connected to the hotel and the bathrooms for the bar are in the hotel so all you have to do is go in through the bar and you have free roam of the entire hotel and pool (seems really safe).

Good things: I like the fresh waffles, they have a batter dispenser it’s really nice. The mirror has a really cool light...

Terrible hotel's localization. My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights. The first one (Friday/ Saturday) was a nightmare! Room was from the parking lot side, and between 3-4 AM we couldn't sleep because of young man had loud disco music played on powerful speakers in his car by front of our window (we stay on 3rd floor). Guy was drinking, going inside car and out -staying by his sedan, receiving at times visitors. Around 4 AM there was a big fight in the same parking lot: fight that involved 6-7 people. No one intervened. No one picked phone in reception, so I went downstairs to complain. I was waiting by reception desk about 20 minutes - no employee... Hotel's front door open & everyone could go in or out. Not seeing ANY employee , going back to our room, I find out that my wife was earlier right smelling marihuana in our room. It was trashy mid aged tattooed woman (as we found out during the day time) who was smoking it in the room next to ours. Second night was better because we changed side of hotel to opposite - by service road and some trees. Price of hotel per night was 98 dollar, roughly less than half of they want in center of Portland. But still it was overpriced for what we experienced. Items for breakfast (to go - because of COVID) always included cereals, but never milk... During daytime employees were nice, and we did not have problem with switching rooms. We stay there in 3rd week of September 2020. For the first & last time! Not recommended, especially...
