I really wish I could rate Walgreens in a negative range! Every Walgreens I go into is 100% dysfunctional, from lack of inventory, to scarcity of cashiers/ employees, who can't stop stocking shelves long enough to ring up customers &/or one cashier for a checkout line running halfway through the store & even worse for the pharmacy. The pharmacy... a disaster in & of itself.... This store is a half block away from my house. We used Rite Aid pharmacy there for over 15 years & it was ideal with our house so close, but we had to change pharmacies after they became Walgreens. Immediately after the change-over, it was ridiculous & things just kept going quickly downhill!! They are extremely understaffed, which is seriously problematic. Understandably, this causes the employees to be stressed out, but then they become quite irritable with customers & sometimes very rude! After a couple years of issues & continuously having such hard times getting our prescriptions, my family & I finally decided to go elsewhere for our medications. It was just too much, between things falling through the cracks & it always taking such a long time waiting to get them filled & picking them up (both seemingly due to being understaffed). My review is not necessarily specific just for this store, though. I've had the same, if not worse experiences at other Walgreens & their pharmacies (enough that I've decided recently to stop shopping at Walgreens as a whole, altogether & write this review.) These things that I've already mentioned though, aren't even my biggest issues with Walgreens. One of my 2 biggest complaints is the lack of employee knowledge, considering Walgreens insists on having their hands in everything, by sticking some stupid atm-like computer in the store for things like western union, loading cards, etc, although they are listed as if they are an actual full service WU location. All the employees can do is take your money, so if you have trouble with WU or another service while using the computer kiosk-thing for WU or countless other things you would need support for, you're screwed! The MAIN PROBLEM I have with Walgreens is their prices! You advertise your store like you care about the community, although if you cared even a little bit, you wouldn't have the MOST OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE PRICES in the entire industry! SHAME ON...

Read moreI would have to agree with a previous reviewer that the store is nice and I would have probably given it 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the pharmacy. I have been going to this pharmacy for about 9 months and I have been getting the same medications every month. I always try to pick up all my prescriptions on the same day. This should not be a problem but almost every month they tell me they can't fill at least one prescription on time. I have had to go without my prescriptions multiple times because of this and I have spent hours on the phone with my doctors office and insurance trying to fix this. The pharmacy always blames the insurance but when I call my insurance they say they don't know why the pharmacy always has issues. I have to go back and forth playing the middle man instead of the pharmacy calling the insurance and getting it resolved. Keep in mind that these are medications I have been on for years, with the same insurance, and I have not had problems like this before. I will say that when I spoke to the actual pharmacist he was more helpful than most of the other employees but I still had to have my doctor send the prescription to a different a pharmacy and pay cash for it because they did not resolve the issue with the insurance and because Walgreens price for the medication, even with a discount program, was 5 to 7 times higher than almost all of the other...
