I don’t usually write bad reviews unless it truly was bad experience. Also, I’m a server myself and I always try to be understanding. This was my third time and most surely my last time. This time was a disappointment. The service was not good at all, the server was not knowledgeable at all, every question I asked she didn’t know and had to go check the answer every time. When we got our main dish both of them were beef shawarma they tasted like lamb. I cannot stand the taste of lamb so I took one bite and could tell it tasted like lamb. The server confirmed it was beef, the manager ( or the owner not sure) came to the table and said the same thing, however for me as a customer if the dish doesn’t meet my expectation I expect a compensation. But they said they cannot do anything because I already ordered it. How disappointing, they probably mixed the lamb cookware with the other meats ( I ordered chicken Kebob afterward and it also had a little bit of lamb taste). Also, our waters weren’t refilled for a while until we asked for it. The server brought the dishes and the salad sides but no silverware to eat them with. Anyway, the only good thing was the Muhamara appetizer, besides that nothing was worth the...
Read moreI gave this place a 1 star even though it deserves no stars. the food was just plain terrible! Do not expect to get what you ordered on the menu! I ordered the biryani thinking id get THE real biryani or at least something close Unfortunately what i got was something beyond edible, not close to a biryani, and don’t get me started on the MASSIVE deep fried unseasoned chicken thigh that was laying on top of the rice! Ive had biryani enough to know that was DEFINITELY not it The waitress kept arguing with us about it, they just cover it up and tell you that that’s how we do it or that’s iraqi way I mean my plate didn’t even match the description on the menu Anyways, here’s a picture of my so called “ biryani “ meal for you to judge My husband’s chicken shawerma was more of a chicken wrap that didn’t taste fresh I mean it wasn’t cheap! If you guys are charging people that kind of money and making them wait 35min for their meals at least get it right! We read some bad reviews here, we ignored them and gave the restaurant the benefit of a doubt. But the whole experience turned out disappointing
NOTE: the waitress was kind enough to finally not let us pay for our “ untouched “ food after giving it a VERY...
Read moreI have been coming to this restaurant for a while now, and I am sad to say that our most recent take-home order was greatly disappointing.
While the food tastes decent, we had ordered the appetizer combo, which comes with a choice of four appetizers. It was about $26. This price is outrageous for the little that we got. We received one Samosa and about a fourth of what you would regularly get with a normal order.
You would get more bang for your buck if you just order the normal appetizers instead of the sampler. I even called the restaurant to double check that they had not accidentally made a mistake, and the person I spoke with confirmed that the quantity we received was correct. He then went onto explain that the online company that puts up their restaurant menu has not updated the menu. I feel like this explanation is weak because a restaurant should not surprise customers with a food quality and price change like this. The price does not match the quantity that you get, and I feel cheated.
Because of this outrageous issue, I will not be coming here until they match the quantity of food...
