Like sitting on air. Oh wait, I am! I spent considerable time going over prices and delivery times with our salesperson, we ended up making no changes, and ordering what amounted to a carbon copy of a floor model under the reassurance that it could be in late December, or definitely by January. That was in November. February rolls around and I'm enjoying my new ripped thighs, courtesy of their large delivery windows, but it's time to figure out where my chair is, turns out we shouldn't expect it until May! Probably! You think they would have given us a call about a 5 month delay, but no, that's not how La-Z-Boy (wow did they get that one right) rolls. And here's the kicker, the delay is several times longer than our original order, but apparently the forms you sign have a disclaimer that their windows mean nothing, and it can take up to 6 months for delivery.Wow, I wish I had such luxury with my contracts!

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LOCATION. NO BODY SHOULD SHOP AT THIS LOCATION OR AT ANY LAZY BOY LOCATION. THEIR SERVICE SUCKS. If there was a 0 star option they would get it from me In February 2015 I bought a loveseat and sofa set from here, boy what a mistake. We tried out one set in store and liked it .Since they didn't have the color we wanted, we had to order ours which became a custom order. Paid $2950.54 for the set with warranty. 8 weeks later (4/14/15) set arrives with damages to fabric and dimension off by 2-3 inches throughout both sets. Went to the store same evening, sales person Ron who sold me the set gives me customer service number to call. Called next morning ,talked to TERESA, her customer service sucks, least helpful, tells me to deal with the store since it was in 3 day window. Talked to store manager PAUL, boy oh boy what a manager, he has no clue .very good at passing the buck. Tells me to deal with RON the sales rep. Paul seriously needs to upgrade his managerial skills and customer service, he is not the right person to be in that capacity. I don't know how he still has this job.I had to pick the sales person to come to my place and take measurement and check damages. He did agree that measurements were off and saw the damage and forwarded it to Paul, who says to deal with customer service. So store doesn't want to deal with this, called customer service talked to VANESSA this time. Boy what an attitude she has ,equally bad customer services. Tells me that I got to accept what was delivered since it is what I ordered. Does this mean I accept "crapp" if Lazy boy delivers that to me , since the order is complete now? makes me wonder how these people work as customer service reps. Called again talked to NEOMI, she turned out to be somewhat helpful.sends two technicians to my place to inspect damages and take measurement. They too agreed that the measurements were off and saw damages and forwarded it to the office. I also emailed pictures to Neomi. I waited for 48 hrs as told but no response. So called Neomi again, she said she will forward it to warranty department.Till today I have not heard anything. I called cooperate office to report. All cooperate did was opened up a case and gave me a case number and transferred my to San Jose office again. I also filled online complain on Lazy boy website as well but no result. Everytime I call cooperate they transfer me back to san jose customer service center which is a joke.Talked to Vanessa again since Neomi seems to be on lunch or on phone everytime I call.asked for manager Delores, but per Vanessa Delores doesn't talk to customers, seriously, a manager in customer service doesn't talk to its customers. What a customer service. was told Dolores just takes messages from others and calls customers only if she feels like.So I asked for Troy, who I think is the owner of the warehouse, but Vanessa tells me that Troy never talks to any customers, again what a business ownership where they don't talk to their customers..I am still waiting for any feedback from this company. numerous email and phone calls for Neomi or anyone has been made but no response. Also made numerous trips to the store but no result. All you see is Paul playing with children of store staff in the store. My effort to have Lazy boy take care of the fabric damages and to either have the set corrected on measurement or to get a refund has been unsuccessful for the past two weeks. PLEASE READERS TAKE ALL THIS IN CONSIDERATION AND AVOID LAZY BOY BY ALL MEANS.ESPECIALLY SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO STORE.I THINK LAZY BOY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME TO "LOUSY PEOPLE". YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING EXACT IF NOT BETTER STUFF AT OTHER PLACES AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE AND WILL GET HASSAL FREE CUSTOMER SERVICE.AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY WARRANTY ON ANYTHING. YOU WILL TRULY HAVE HARD TIME DEALING WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.YOU WILL BE TOSSED BACK AND FORTH LIKE I HAVE BEEN WITH NO RESULT,...

To follow up on my last review on 5/3/15 Finally Dolores in San Jose customer service center decides to call me on 5/6/15. Boy what an arrogant and snotty personality she has. Customer service at this center is down the toilet. After reading other peoples reviews about customer service, pin pointing to individual, I am surprised why they still have a job at a customer service level. Dolores tried to keep her conversation very short and avoiding to talk about sofa dimensions which are my concern. She agreed to have the damage taken care but says she cant help with the dimension issues. I kept reminding her that the dimensions are off few inches throughout the sets. Her answer to it "thats normal, dimensions are usually off " REALLY ? This just blows my mind. She had the guts say" if the sets dont feel like the one you tried in the store then go ahead and buy the one which is in the store". Wow!!! this is someone who works in customer service telling you. What a rude person she is. She said her two technicians, Mike and Luis who came to my home to take measurements were just to confirm the measurements and found nothing wrong with the sofa.I understand these two clowns work for lazy boy but they are lairs and so is Dolores. Everyone who works here a bunch of lairs.Techs agreed that measurements were off while they were at my house but they changed their report upon submission or if they did agree with me , customer service is not accepting the fact.According to Dolores, her department is not responsible to correct the measurements but only to take care of the damages. My question is who should then? I reminded her that the sales rep from the store also took measurements and agreed that they were off. Guess what Dolores said. "That's why he doesnt work in that store anymore, he was let go because he agreed with you". Meaning that the poor guy lost his job just because he spoke up for his customer and agreed with me.What a shame Lazy Boy. Again the game of passing bucks came up clearly with Dolores. She said for me to deal with store manager, Paul regarding the dimension issues since her department doesnt deal with this. I dont understand why ? Paul doesnt work in customer service. So called Paul to let him know this. Guess what, same old Paul with horrible service.Doesnt seemed to be bothered about my situation. No attempt to help his customer.Again passes it back to customer service. Wants me to deal with San Jose center and their horrible customer service.Same old song and dance.Says that according to Dolores, the measurement are per specs. What a joke Dolores, you should be labeled as the best lair in the world. Everyone who has said negative about you on reviews are right, your service sucks. Also (if you read other reviews its true) that LAZY BOY uses this cheap factory in San jose where they get this furniture made with very cheap material. They then add a huge mark up to it. If you look underneath the sofa, you will see its made of cheap crappy particle board material. Very low grade material. You will be fooled by the outer look on these and Lazy Boy tag.I guess the same factory makes furniture which are sold at flee market , after all its made in San Jose. So please beware of these ,don't pay high dollars for pieces of crapp. NEVER BUY ANY EXTRA WARRANTY So please readers,if you please dont want to go through people like Dolores,Vanessa, Neomi,Teresa and Paul and their rude and snotty customer service and deal with their attitude please do not shop at any Lazy Boy stores. You will not be satisfied and will get run around like I am getting with my $2950 purchase which is sitting in my garage not used just a piece of crapp. All you get is stress from Lazy. Their name says it all............. I am not sure why cooperate office is not taking any action despite numerous horrible...

The manager is a jerk at this location.i recently received a recliner as a Christmas present from a family member from a shopping network I completely hated it.as I was used to the quality and comfort of lazy boy recliners for the last 20 years .so I was on a mission to send back the beautiful looking recliner an purchase my lazy boy recliner so I went to the store and was approached by a salesman short guy with a beard I asked a couple of questions and I sorta got the feeling he wasn't interested in fully answering my questions but kept looking for that perfect fit anyway I really like on motorized recliner it was like a cadiCadi of recliners and the price was over 2,000 dollars so I was curious about financing so I applied and yes was approved for way over asking price so im ready just needed some comparison to one other I had seen so I I said to the sales person why does this chair feel to me more stable than another one that I sat in and to my surprise the response was not only rude but condescending now I felt I was be talked down to an I stopped him an said is a problem asking you a question and I asked who is the manager and his response was I am the manager to my surprise wow I responded that is to bad so needless to say I left the store with no purchase and total disappointment in the managers attitude .He is rude an has absolutely no Custtomer service skills so now I have received a credit card for lazy boy im gonna tear it up an forfeit my Cadillac of chairs just because of the manager and his unprofessional rude attitude . Stay away from this location in my opinion if the manager is this bad I can't imagine everyone below him doesn't follow his lead .so sad such a great product but people skills...
