Cavender's Western Outfitter — Local services in Southaven

I started my day searching for Ariat work boots. I thought could find them easily at Frontier Western in Olive Branch. I wondered around that store for a good ten minutes before I overheard someone behind me ask somebody else if they needed help. After the customer said that they didn't need any help, I held a finger up and said "I do ". The young man pointed towards the area I might be able to find the shoes. I walked to that area and decided I would not be spending my money with Frontier Western today or any other day. COWBOY CORNER crossed my mind and I'm glad it did. I received excellent customer service from a very helpful and patient young lady. I don't recall her name. She help me find my work boots and I also purchased another pair to wear with my Levi's just because she had been such a great salesperson. I'm glad I didn't...

We have shopped here when it was boot barn and frontier. Since it has switched to Cavenders, the service is absolutely awful. I don’t think the service should be Chik-fil-a quality but none of the employees look or act like they want to be there. Secondly, every time they have a “sale” it’s not on sale when you bring it to the register. The sign will say “shirts by this brand buy one get one half” and when you bring those shirts by that brand to the register they will rudely tell you the ones you brought are not on sale and then not give you any guidance on what is actually on sale. Very unprofessional place. I drove almost 2 hours because no one around my area cleaned or re shaped cowboy hats. I had called to make sure someone would be there because we would be getting there around 3 in the afternoon. I was told someone would be, I arrived and was directed to the hat station and was told if no one was there, just come back to the register. I went back to the register because no one was there and then told by the same person that they were gone for the day.
