Subway — Restaurant in Southaven

On the way to work, I usually stop at this location for the convenience. It is usually a single person on staff when I stop there. She is never friendly or says hello when you enter the store. Always rude. I thought maybe she is just having a bad day, which has now turned into weeks. Today she was the worst. I walk in, she has money on the counter and packaging cookies with no gloves. She grabs a handful of cash off the counter and rushes to the back. She returns and grabs some gloves and start making my sandwich. I said I am requesting that you wash your hands. She holds her hands under the water. I said no please use soap. Money is the nasty thing you can handle around food. Her reponse was that, "you are being extra today, I am going to be wearing gloves". I asked for the store manager's name. To my surprise, she said she was the store manager. I told her every time I come in here you are rude. At that point, I told her not to make my sandwich and give me the corporate phone number, which she refused. Told me bye Felisha and get out of my store. Really???? This is the worst expereience and any restuarant. I will never patronize this restuarant again. She was a little too comfortable behaving this way...

The other reviews are accurate. They are very cheap here. The online ordering wasn't working and I wanted the meal of the day. The guy working there was super unfriendly. I asked for extra tomatoes and he put 3 tomatoes on the sandwich. After I asked for the rest of the toppings I wanted I asked for more tomatoes and he put one single extra tomato on. I thought the whole draw of subway is that all toppings are free...Then when I was checking out the meal comes with a small drink. He told me they didn't have small cups so he'd have to charge me 30 cents extra for a medium. I told him that I didn't want a medium and he just stared at me and then he said it's just 30 cents more and I said "you're not giving me a choice" and he just laughed. That made me pretty mad. Any where else if they are out of smalls they'd give you a medium for free or make some kind of adjustment. But truly so cheap and rude. Unless I'm really craving subway I'm not coming back which is a bummer because I do like...

One of the employees told me he couldn’t toast the spinach on my sandwich because the spinach flies in the toaster. I looked at him and said I’m getting other veggies toasted with it so it’ll weigh down the spinach. He proceeded to put as little spinach as he could on my sandwhich. Subway was my first job and one of my fav restaurants I’ve never heard of an employee saying something like that.

They also do not take coupons and their prices are higher than surrounding subways. I’m not going back to this location.

The location is usually clean and not all the employees are difficult and penny pinch like the one I experienced today, but based on this experience I’ll support other subways rather...
