I work for a Dr.âs office - had to call younger sounding female pharmacist to get patientâs medications refilled a day or two early as the patient and her mother were leaving for holiday - which any patient has the right to do that and appeal to their insurance for a day or two early refill for vacation reasons - I had even confirmed with the patientâs mother prior to calling the CVS Southbury Pharmacy- the young female pharmacist made multiple Snyde remarks on how she did not believe any people on this specific medications and they were âalways going on vacationâ. She was not only being completely judge mental against my patient, she made huge prejudice comments about the type of customer I treat at our facility due to their medication/treatment. In all my years at this doctors office helping clients I have never experienced a young female pharmacist with such despairaging remarks as I encountered when I talked to this young female pharmacist- I have now called my patientâs family and let them know what was said by their pharmacist whom they had already had the sad experience of dealing with her and her despairaging remarks before and are now moving their whole family to another pharmacy. I would warn you as someone who works in a doctorâs office and calls in prescriptions each day - this young female pharmacist is the most demeaning, condescending, unethical, disrespectful pharmacist I have ever encountered over my years in working for a doctors office and calling in prescriptions- heed my advice - DO NOT EVER USE THIS PHARMACY- this pharmacist has no right to make judgement on patients due to their medications- she knows nothing of their medical conditions or why they would be on such medications, and rather than do her job, she will give you the toughest time giving you a refill and then try to talk bad about you with your doctors office. I have the date, I have the time I received a call from my patient and I have the time I called and spoke to this female pharmacist and I guarantee you that I will report her not only to CVS Coorporate offices everywhere but I will also be reporting her to The State of CT Health Commissioner and everyone else in the State of CT who will guarantee this young female pharmacist never works in CT again. To all the Southbury residents - go to a different pharmacy- you do not need your pharmacist talking bad about you with your family/doctor/or neighbor and breaking every HIPPA law out there. I 100% behind this pharmacist...
Read moreI was doing uber or instacart order..actually my 1st time there . Anyways I always try go to selfcheckoit . I love scannign and bagging myself esp if it's customer's order.
So I was checkout and this order was bit heavy due to 3 gatorade drinks and 3 light items so I double bagged it. I'm so concentrated what I'm doing..I believe one of CVS associate passed by and said something to me while passing by not saying directly to me.Mr..
" should ask to double bag"
Something like that. I should ask to double bag?? I will do whatever I want ..double bag if I want. Nerve associate to say that. I never beard that. Ok next time I will split order in half into 2 separate bags ., put cart back and carry 2 bags.
Isn't it kinda the same thing? Double bag or split the order into 2 bags???? I'm still using 2 bags!!
I'm still using 2 bags!! Only difference one bag is inside the other while the other isn't. Stupid!
" I should ask to double bag" lol
Thata why im self checkout I dnt want be bothered. Let me do my job with uber or instacart. I dnt want get deducted or low tip that I did sloppy job shopping ans bagging the orders.
How rude and unprofessional for that associate to say that .why dnt associate say to my face??!!! Scarred I report to manager?? Well I'm posting here so everyone can see instead just 1 person manager.
I used to be cashier for 6 yrs and everyone loved how I work esp how fast , efficient organize with their groceries that I had long lines all the time. People wanted to come to me. Managers ask head cashier why my line is always long... they tried to lure customers to go to other registers but they don't want to . So you see great customer service.
Hope manager sees that to better train there staff and what not to say to customers .
" should ask to double bag" Lol
It's like asking permission. .mommy can I buy this toy? Mommy can I get this candy? Ma'am can u use the self checkout? Is there age limit at checkout?? Is there race problem ?
Maybe if management wasn't cheap, they won't be cheap fo employees, or buying cheap paper bags so double bagging not issue. Oh well not...
Read moreIâve been going to CVS pharmacy in Southbury, CT for as long as I can remember. I understand with Covid and prescription shortages that there could be problems and everyone has to stand in line for 30 minutes and be patient. But, I went for a major surgery last Monday 1/8, they were supposed to fill a pain medication for me, they told the hospital they had it in stock. When I went to go retrieve my prescription, the pharmacist told us that it was on back order and we would have it the following day⌠two days later I got another text message from CVS pharmacy stating that they could not get my prescription and they were going to contact someone else to get me an alternative. This is six days ago. I tried to call them today. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then it suddenly picked up. I thought I was going to be able to speak to a pharmacist and it hung up. This phone experience has happened to me on more than one occasion. When they donât want to speak to the âannoying customersâ they pick up the phone and hang it up. I do not understand whatâs going on. They donât even have the decency to contact you and let you know they will not be filling your pain medication for major surgery or anything else.
The staff at CVS pharmacy has not made any effort to contact me or the hospital and try to get me a replacement. And when I tried to call yesterday and today they either wonât pick up the calls or they pick the call up and hang up immediately.
Iâm not sure if this can be followed up with somebody from the State of Ct. about this, I am going to do some research. Because now theyâre playing with peoples lives. They do not seem to care at this location.
This is the year 2024. Completely ridiculous, Iâm planning on leaving this pharmacy and hopefully I can find one that has better customer service and cares to follow-up when the original medication canât be...
