For YEARS, this Walgreens location has lost prescriptions, not answered phone calls regarding questions about medications, lied right to my face about the time a medication would be ready for pick up, and have actively created a hostile environment within the store itself. Never in my life have I, or my family, received such poor care when it comes to picking up our life saving medications. The staff are short tempered, over worked, under paid and IT SHOWS. The staff blame the automated notification system for issues related to errors received about medications being ready for pick up, when in fact, the medication hasn't even begun to be filled. In order to get a medication filled, you have to go to the pharmacy counter, stand there and WAIT until they are finished. You have to physically watch them do their job in order to get your medication in a "timely manner". What's worse, management knows this is going on and continues to fail our community day after day, medication after medication. The staff in the pharmacy are unprofessional and have been heard loudly discussing individuals prescriptions, for example: 'why does this person need so many of this medication?'; 'jesus wow, how can anyone need this dosage of this medication, like how are they alive?'--are a few quotes from a recent stop at this location. Additionally, pharmacy staff have been heard disclosing personal health information with patients waiting less than 4 feet from the counter (information including: SSN, age, ethnicity, SES, and yelling patient name with prescribed medication. For example: 'Sarah your Xanax prescription is ready'). I and other customers have recorded these interactions due to disbelief and shock at the violation of HIPPA. This location is deplorable and a risk to our community safety. The lack of basic professionalism is harmful and shaming to patients who have to use this store, as we don't have the means to go to another store or location. We as patrons...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am not one to post negative reviews however this incident at Walgreens cannot lay by the wayside. I went there and dropped off four prescriptions after leaving urgent care. It was a 4:45 PM. They said it would be ready between seven and 730. the prescriptions would be ready Went back at 10 to 8. They werenāt done and I was told that I would have to come in the next day as to speak with the pharmacist I was at the drive-in window and he didnāt have the decency to come to the window. He had a phone call made where you talk through the speaker while he was on the phone where I couldnāt see him I told him it was very urgent to get these prescriptions filled, and his response was so repulsive so arrogant Like this how he keeps his Pharmacy job there as being a pharmacist I have no idea, but this man and his name is Pat was the rudest, most inconsiderate, most asinine pharmacist Iāve ever spoken with. I know this Pharmacy is always understaffed. I understand that the two female pharmacist that worked there are awesome. They do the best they can and the staff is awesome but this pharmacist this Pat again the most arrogant, rude pharmacist Iāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pharmacy department is rude most of the time I call or come in. The drive thru is rarely open. This is the closest Walgreens unfortunately and it has went downhill over the years. The level of professionalism here is nonexistent. It's as though they hire all the rejects to work in pharmacy. The older white lady with the short hair and glasses is the only one who is consistently professional. Which is sad to say because it's mostly Blacks working here. They don't feel same day prescriptions anymore which is extremely inconvenient for patients. There have been several times that my doctor has ordered prescriptions for me to start that day, but Walgreens always has to wait on a shipment for prescriptions. I'm sitting here now on a Saturday waiting for them to open at 9 instead of 8 as stated on the door and win I predict this store will be closed within the next 5 years...
