Caution, you are not allowed to return sale items!! I tried to return an item I purchased on sale. I could not find the receipt at first and was told that I would need the receipt. When I found the receipt, I was then told I could not return it because it was purchased from the gift shop and the return policy is different in the gift shop. When I showed them that I actually purchased it from their kitchen department, I was told that I could not return it because it was part of the Christmas sale. The story keeps changing. Looked everywhere for 24" rolled, faced insulation. Lowe's and Home Depot did not have and did not really show any interest in finding any. When I called Irwin's Ace Hardware at Hillcrest, the kind lady (Chris or maybe Kris?) not only spent the time to find the insulation (in Pennsylvania), but also kept me updated on the shipping/delivery status. To me, that is the difference in your locally own business and the big box stores. The only difference in price was in the shipping, and that was negligible.
