Bojangles — Restaurant in Spartanburg

This store loves me. They will serve me coffee anytime of day and give me my senior discount without me having to ask for it. Great crew.

Update:

Today the crew did not love me. Upon entering just before 2:00 p.m. I was informed they had no coffee. I was not offered an opportunity to wait for them to brew some because the girl said something about the machine was down. So I got into my vehicle to leave but checked to see if I had left a review of the place, which I had.

Since it really wasn't that late in the day and my review had mentioned they would make me coffee anytime, I decided to call the store and see if the coffee machine was broken or what the deal was. The employee who answered told me the machine was not broken and that they could brew some. I said no I'm not interested now but if the machine isn't broken why wasn't I offered an opportunity to wait. I inquired , should I have asked the girl if she could brew me some? While I was speaking and asking my question the employee hung up the phone on me.

Well, I wasn't having that so I drove back to the store and had a quick talk with the manager. She's a new manager at this location. It looks like some of the crew is new, so I wasn't angry or anything, I simply revealed to the manager the poor experience I had had in regards to a simple cup of coffee.

The manager of course was super nice and we had a nice little chat, manager to manager, and I ended up with a free cup of coffee. I would have gladly paid for it but she would not let me. So in the end, yet again another happy ending, but unfortunately the crew needed a little bit of understanding shall we say. I ordered in the app at this location. It gave me the choice to come in or park. I chose park as uncle to come in from recent surgery. It said my order would be ready in 5-7 min. I was there in 7. I parked & tapped I'm here. After 22 min, I called in the store. A lady answered and asked did I say I was there in the app . I told her I did. She couldn't find my order but then someone in the background said they had made. She assured me it had been under heat lamps and was fine. Then instead of bringing it out, she asked me to drive around again and go through the drive through. Once, I got home the other wrong she lukewarm. We ordered 2 legs & thigh. The was only 1 of each. I ordered the breast/ wing. Did not get the wing but I think maybe it was the back or thigh (not sure) the chicken was a good temp but very very dry. Rice was dry/ lukewarm. Biscuits were lukewarm. We had checked the box in app for unseasoned fries.. They we not only seasoned but almost cold and tough. I called back up there and they did say I could come back and they would fix it , but after spending so much time trying to get it..much less having to spend more time and gas money decided to wait and talk to the manager tomorrow. This was the worst experience ever at any location. It was also 5 ( when they were supposed to have it ready). There was no other cars there...

I went to the Bojangles at 1793 E Main St in Spartanburg SC. It was 4:30pm on Thursday afternoon. The woman came over the speaker and said "order when ready." I said can I have 6 chicken legs and she said "we don't have 6 chicken legs." I said I'm sorry I must must have misunderstood you. She repeated we don't have 6 children legs. I asked well how many do you have. She replied 3. Any decent, civil human being would have explained that to me instead of repeating her snide self. I will take those 3. I then ordered 2 sweet potato pies to which she blurted out 15 minutes and I said that's OK I don't need then. She was rude, curt and hostile. My mother likes Bo Jo's food. I myself have had not good experiences and I will not go for myself nor as I told my mother will never go there for her again in the future. As I pulled up to the window the rude woman grabbed my credit card and then she flings containers to me. I told her I was going to double check the order before I drove off. You aren't going to do that and block my drive. Mind you, there was no one behind me. I asked her for her name to which she refused. I believe based on her shirt she was the "manager." Do yourself a favor and do not frequent this establishment. It is a shame that the employees think it is OK to behave that way. Somebody at Bojangles should care more about...
