This is my all time favorite store! Just completely full of craft supplies of every kind but well organized and easy to find what you need. The staff is phenomenal and always happy to help you find something. I always end up with more than I planned for because there are so many interesting and useful items! The prices are really low and it's a great way to try a new craft without a huge investment. You can also donate your extra supplies from projects - the website makes it easy to set up a donation appointment. If you are looking for craft supplies this should be your first stop! My only wish is that they had more hours so I could go everyday!

Love the concept of fostering Spokane arts and artists by repurposing and upcycling art and craft materials, sharing knowledge, and building a community. The store has treasures in every corner, great prices on supplies (I bought brushes, watercolor paper, and a palette box) and a huge variety of craft materials for painting, fabric arts, framing, collage, and much much more. Definitely worth a visit for any creative person - a new favorite spot.

I've never considered myself an artistic person, although I have always appreciated art due to my lack of ability and inspiration. While visiting Art Salvage with a friend, I had my first inspiration after seeing a cork that was painted like a mushroom. I thought I could maybe carve them to be a little more realistic. Thank you for helping me realize I might be a bit of a sculptor.

This was the highlight of my visit to Spokane. I really like the altruistic and egalitarian spirit behind this art salvage place. The executive director Katie has an amazing vision. I also met Laura and Kylie. They gave us a guided tour of this place. We were attending the Washington state Recycling association convention here in town and this was a field trip and a field visit to this amazing place that helps disabled children and mentally Disadvantaged people also.

Spokane's first creative reuse center dedicated to sustainability, community, and creativity. Art Salvage offers a place to donate your usable art materials, a place to buy affordable art materials, and a place to be creative. Most people have leftovers from projects or materials that have been saved but will never be used. Businesses have seconds, damaged goods, or out of season materials that are not needed anymore.  By gathering all of these usable things together in one place we create an accessible and inspiring place to load up on art materials. Because Art Salvage is supported by donations the materials are affordable, always changing and more varied than what you might find in a traditional art or craft store. Who is creative reuse for? Artists, crafters, teachers, students, professionals, beginners. Everyone! What kind of art supplies and materials can I buy from Art Salvage? An ever changing selection of: Artist Supplies, Paper, Craft & Scrapbooking Supplies, Fabric & Sewing Notions, Party Supplies , Office Supplies, Frames & Signage, Interior Design Samples, Containers, Vintage Ephemera, Metal Scraps, Wood Pieces, Plastic Bits, Doodads, Widgets & Whatnots. When is the next event? Check the Events page or Facebook for current information on classes and events. What materials can I donate? See the complete list of materials. All materials are accepted at the discretion of Art Salvage based on need and condition of materials. Donations are accepted by appointment ONLY. How do I donate materials? Donations are now accepted by appointment OR drop-in donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays when limited to 2 grocery bags or less. Make an appointment HERE or by calling us during open hours. Your donation may be tax deductible
Art Salvage EIN # 811637564 What materials are not accepted by Art Salvage? Household appliances, clothing, linens, food containers, any flammable items, computers, ink cartridges, furniture, soiled or dirty items. Is my donation tax DEDUCTIBLE? Art Salvage is a 501c3 nonprofit. Your donation may be tax deductible.
Art Salvage EIN # 811637564 Where can I donate items that are not accepted by Art Salvage? A list of just some of the agencies in Spokane that do accept many of the items Art Salvage cannot is found here. How can I be more involved with Art Salvage? Are you interested in volunteering? Maybe you would like to lead an Art Salvage Workshop or be involved with arts and our community. Send us an email and tell us a little bit about how your talents could serve Art Salvage. connect@artsalvagespokane.com How do I make a monetary donation to Art Salvage? You can donate via the Art Salvage site or in person at the store. How does my monetary donation help? Donations are used to support the creative community and to sustain the operations of the organization so we can continue the mission of creative reuse. Art Salvage supports community groups and nonprofits with Mini Grants. Are there other creative reuse centers? Yes! See a list of creative reuse...

Art Salvage Spokane is one of the most creative and inspiring places I’ve ever been. It’s not your typical art store—it’s a reuse and recycle treasure trove where artists, teachers, and makers can find the most unique supplies. Every corner feels like a hunt for hidden gems: fabric, paints, beads, frames, paper, and all kinds of unexpected materials waiting to be turned into something new.

What I love most is their mission. They’re not only keeping art affordable, but they’re also giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste. It’s sustainable, creative, and community-driven all at once. The staff are friendly and passionate, always willing to share ideas or help brainstorm how you might use something.

If you’re an artist, crafter, teacher, or just someone who loves creative projects, Art Salvage is a must-visit. You’ll walk in with curiosity and leave with inspiration—and probably more supplies than you planned (in...
