Jackson St. Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Spokane

Im new to Spokane and while longboarding to the store I heard some cheering in the direction that i was going. Along the way I noticed that it was coming from some people playing beer pong in trash cans which i thought was a good idea and being new here wanted to find a place close by that i could come to when not working. I asked one of the people sitting down drinking if they had a cover charge and if the game had an entering fee. After I stood there to watch their finals game. When i went to leave i had someone yell out to me. So I Turned around to talk to them. The man asked me if i was planning on coming in. Which i thought about doing so. Just after going to the store and dropping grocery's off. While asking me he had a weird vibe about it. So i was hesitant. I replied with a yeah but not right now. He again told me to come in with his malicious way of it. I told him that i would like to but asked why is he pushing it and trying to get me to come in and asking me if im coming in so much. He says that they have been having trouble with people who have backpacks and bikes. I replied with asking how that has anything to do with me stopping by to watch the game as why would i put myself out there(talking to and being in front of people) if i was going around robbing people. I also am not on a bike. I have a longboard. A cell phone and a Jordan ball bag. He told me to get the F off his property. I then ask why, im not doing anything but watching the game and would have came in if he wasn't acting so weird about it as i stepped onto the sidewalk and then road. Which he then started to threaten me while two other bigger guys entered the situation. At which from how they walked up i felt was not good so i turned my recorder back on as i turned it off when leaving as the video i had, was attempting to post it to find a partner for the next game so i start to record the rest of the conversation. Which i have saved. The 3 guys hopped over the fence and began to threaten me and try to jump me. The i have the video and if i could i would post it. Am trying to let this be known as i feel so offended as the stuff he was saying to me and the fact that i was trying to check it out to go in and the owner chose to judge me and threaten me. Even when walking down the road i saw one of the guys who had jump the fence try to sneak back over as if he was going to try and sneak attack me. A mom and her child were walking by and asked if I was ok as they had saw a little of what had happened. Which at the time i was able to ask her what a transient is. Being that the owner was calling me one. Which after learning its meaning. I have felt extremely offended! As I work 2 jobs and don't get a lot of time off so to be attacked on my night off for stopping to see what's going on in the direction that i had to go, when there is what sounds like a huge crowd cheering. Im curious on what Would have happened if I wouldn't have noticed his malicious way of pushing me to go in or if the lady hadn't have come around the corner as the 3 of them are easily twice my size. Also makes me wonder if it had anything to do with my skiin color as i noticed that i was the only person with a dark completion and i was dressed in new shoes, nice cloths with a new expensive board and bag so didn't fit the transient description.! I wasn't acting sketchy or trying to hide. I was out in the open and talking to people about coming in on the 11th for the next game. Yet was harassed and attacked by the owner. I live in the neighborhood and every time I go to this bar they make me and friends feel that my money is good but my presence isn't wanted this is a low-key biker bar only reasons why it has a high review is because it is a biker bar and they have so many group members that put in their own opinion which is always coincidentally a good one but you're not welcome they love their regular customers more than a new customers because it is a biker bar and your money is always good not your presence not enough space for people to do anything the biggest space they have is their beer garden I hear motorcycle engines and loud music playing past 10: 00 it is a front for a biker club food isn't bad the hospitality is horrible the space is horrendous and like I said it is a front I live in this neighborhood and I know what they are doing I would not recommend friends family or acquaintances to go...

I need to come back at a better time, to honestly give it a better rating, to be fair!!!!$🍻🍺 2 weeks later So last night, I stopped by for a couple beers and to listen to local artist, which was a great cover band, who's guitarist play some Jimi Hendrix behind his head! I now only witness that being done by 2 other artist, one my cousin in Seattle, and a guitarist in a Filipino cover band who were performing and a hotel in Bahrain!!! Not only did I get to listen to music, had a very good conversation with the owners, too, then as it got late, I got hungry!!!
