Eh, VERY mixed feelings. A few years ago, I got a really nice 38DD underwire bra at this store. And I went recently and Mari picked out an everyday, non-underwire, slipover bra - the Evelyn bra from Evelyn & Bobbie - that is very soft, comfortable, flattering, and still relatively supportive. I went back to buy a second one. But I also wanted a new underwire bra. I made a bra fitting appt on FB the day before. But there was a group of 3 women also getting a bra fitting during that same time slot. I would have rather just come back, but I was told they could squeeze me in. Victoria the owner had me try on a single 42DD and said it looked good. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and brought it home even though I did not feel very good about it. I did end up returning it because it was absolutely a poor fit. (BE AWARE: they do not normally accept returns, even with the receipt and tags still on!) I’ve used the “A Bra that Fits” online calculator, which put me around a 38I and have learned plenty on Reddit forums. The most common bra “fitting” strategy is to increase a woman’s band size until her cup size fits into the standard cup sizes of A-DD, since larger bands have relatively larger cups. Basically, you’re having “sister sizes” used against you inappropriately, for their convenience, not your fit. This means brands and stores only have to stock up to DD bras. But I am not a 42 band. I am a 38-40. And the band is where most of the support is supposed to come from, so a 42 lacked support. The cups were also too far apart, making my boobs look too spread and making my body silhouette unattractive. It is better to have narrower, deeper cups that pull the breast tissue out of the armpits. Most women have too loose of a band size and too small of a cup size, whereas it should be the opposite. I also knew the 42DD cups were still too small because the gore did not sit flush on my chest. When I pushed the gore flush, it created tissue rippling. I went to Nordstrom Rack and happened to find a Wacoal 38G that fit and looked SO much better, even though I knew the cups were still a size or two too small. So I’ve been having to order bras online, exchange them, etc., which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place by shopping local. I have a Wacoal 38I bra coming in the mail that I think will be just right. I’m also ordering a Ewa Michalak bra. Did you know you can get a bra handmade in Poland in extended band sizes and UK cup sizes up to “P” delivered to your door for little more cost than Chinese big box store junk? A 38I makes a lot more sense than a 42DD. I knew I was the same weight and band size as 2019 when I bought the 38DD. But I knew I had outgrown the cups by multiple sizes, potentially due to medications I take. So a 38I makes way more sense than a 42DD (ever wonder why you’re magically never bigger than a DD…?). I’m just really disappointed because this store does carry very high quality products. I love my new Evelyn bra, so thank you, Mari. If I wanted to get forced into a DD underwire though, I could have just gone to Target… I expect much better from a bra specialty store. Unfortunately, you need to educate yourself on bra fitting and figure out your size before you go. Photos: 42DD from Audrey’s vs. 38G from Nordstrom Rack vs. 38I Polish bra. Read moreI went in the the store recommended highly by a friend. Struggling to find a special a bra/style camesole that would fit my 90 year old mother. The young lady who greeted me was kind and sweet and showed me several items however said her boss would be able to answer my questions with what I needed. Victoria was behind the desk speaking with a couple. The employee was waiting for her to end the visit which went on and on about drag queens and going on trips. The couple had already purchased an item from the store. I looked around for my self and found a couple of dresses. I waited for over 10 minutes and went closer to the counter to see if my presence would be noticed. Victoria spoke to the couple how she values customer service and their reputation. The employee said she was very sorry it was taking so long. Victoria looked me up and down which I thought was odd and very rude and then kept talking to the couple. I was standing about 8 feet from the counter waiting by some clothing racks. They were not talking about anything that related to purchasing items in the store. I was so taken back by how rude I was treated. I walked out frustrated. My time is just as important. Patience did not prevail in this situation. I will never come back again nor will I recommend this store to any of my friends who have cancer needing support. I couldn’t imagine having them being treated the same way especially dealing with cancer. Reputation obviously is not valued. I have worked in clothing retail for years and this didn’t cut it. Bummer. Nice quality clothing. I guess a loss of one or more customers for her is...
Read moreI was a little nervous to get measured for a bra.
I had not been measured in years. I knew I needed to be measured, because all of the places I have been to were so disappointing. No bra would fit me. And I don't like under wire or padded bras. I have been wearing jogging bras, which don't supply the support I need.
I made an appointment. I don't know if they accept walk-ins for bra measurements.
I was surprised how quickly they ascertained my size and found a bra to support me.
They have beautiful dresses / clothes I did not look at closely. I came for help with bras
I saw what they called the "Bra Whisperer". I was happily surprised how quickly things transpired. I would purchase from them again.
She is definitely the "Bra Whisperer"!
Make sure you try on everything before you leave the store. For instance? If you purchase a bra and you love it? And they offer you another bra on the spot? Please try on all bras before you leave the store. That way, you can confirm that all of the bras will fit you.
I have often found that if you purchase a bra in one name brand? And then try a different name brand? Same size? They may not fit the same.
Customer service was great. Very attentive. Prices were reasonable. Store was clean and organized. They have handicapped parking. There is a wheelchair ramp to get into the building. The door is not automated (someone needs to hold...
