Mrs. Donna’s Jamaican Food — Restaurant in Spokane

Wonderful food, generous portions. Tried the jerk chicken and oxtail today. Both were outstanding - the oxtail is exactly the kind of flavor I'd crave on a cold day but also delicious in late summer. The chef cooked in London previously where there was much competition for Jamaican cuisine.

I was warned that the flavor was a bit on the spicy side, but I honestly wouldn't mind a little more heat. It is rich and complex and delicious.

Please get a nice big sign for the corner! More people need to know about this great food.

There's something about good food that warms the soul. In the curry chicken it may be the scotch bonnet peppers, and I left with a very satisfied and happy and warm belly. So far I've tried the stew chicken, jerk, and curry chicken and have zero complaints. This will definitely be a stop I make every time I'm close to Spokane.
