DO NOT purchase anything from Furniture Center. The sectional I purchased ($2400) was constructed incorrectly (the nap of the fabric is not flowing in the same direction as it should be for a sectional). Chris Castillo, claimed he was the owner and was rude and not willing to help rectify this. I didn’t want my money back or to return it, I just wanted one of the sides to be remade to match the other. See below for the picture showing the cushion(s) rotated proving it can be fixed by rotating the fabric before sewing. The girl who answered the phone at another location claims she doesn’t know the owner’s name (and said it is not Chris Castillo) and said she would NOT get a message to the owner or give me the info to contact the manufacturer. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Update: After leaving many bad reviews and disputing the credit card charge, I was contacted by Furniture Center and was told they would pick my sectional up on Wednesday 9/25/19 and I was to go to the store on Thursday 9/26/19 to pick out a different fabric. They refuse to use the same fabric (which I can accept). 10/2/19 I received a phone call from Karina at Furniture Center's warehouse stating that because I opened the credit card dispute, they would not be returning my couch. I explained I had opened the dispute during the time frame when they were refusing to help and I would be canceling the dispute once my couch was returned. She said no, I had to cancel the dispute first or they would be keeping the $2400 (according to her they were already paid) as well as the sofa. I told her that was theft. She said they have the paperwork I signed when I first had the sofa delivered as well as the pictures of the sectional in my home. I asked if she was saying they would deny picking up the couch and are saying it's still in my possession to which she said yes. I asked again if she was saying if I didn't cancel the dispute before getting the couch back if they were keeping the couch and the money and she verified that was correct (I have this recorded). She also stated they are having their legal team drawing up paperwork for the extra costs they have incurred (shipping the couch back to the manufacturer, reupholstering it and shipping it back. I am appalled that my sectional is "being held hostage" and I was threatened I wouldn't receive it back or money back unless I dropped the dispute before the couch was back in my possession. I have never dealt with such a hateful person who blatantly admitted they would keep my money and the item. Do not buy from this...
Read moreIf I could give less than one star, I would. Please stay clear of this place. We are currently in an ongoing battle with them here. Found a champion micro fiber couch that we loved for $1,600 and a king sized bed frame for $599. We got a great deal because we referred someone that same day (our roommate) and she also financed a bed. We ordered the couch in brown instead of gray, which was considered a "special order", therefore we were told it would take two weeks. This was at the end of April. It is now May 18th, and we went in on the 16th to check on the status of our order. We were then told that "It wasn't their fault why it wouldn't be ready for delivery on the 24th of May, it is the company that they ordered the furniture from that would not have it here on time." We were upset and disappointed by this, as we are not looking forward to having our brand new mattress on the floor, and no couch for our living room. We feel that they were given MORE than enough time to make sure our furniture would be here in time. Since we were pretty angry about the news, (and we knew we were already approved by two financing companies that they, and most Las Vegas companies go through) we decided to check a few more furniture stores in the area. At this other local place, we were told that they had no issue confirming our financing options and having our approval transferred over to their store, but we had already "signed a contract" with Furniture Center. My boyfriend and I are now LIVID because we did not and NEVER DID sign a contract at Furniture Center. We called the financing company (Progressive) and an agent there actually emailed us a copy of the "signed contract" which by the way, has my boyfriend's first name spelled incorrectly and is electronically signed without his consent. We were never given anything other than an invoice of the expected total cost! Nobody EVER went over a legally binding financial contract with us! The contract also states we must pay every two weeks which is something we would have NEVER agreed to. All in all, this is bad business! We can't have our approval transferred yet until everything is cancelled and finalized with Furniture Center, and we have 6 days until we move into our new apartment! This was and is a total nightmare! Save yourself the trouble and go...
Read moreAn unscrupulous business. I went in for a specific furniture set in a specific color, a set that I already own that I purchased in another state. Furniture Center at Arroyo Crossing ordered the wrong set and claimed I knew because I signed a document only listing a model number, as if I knew it was the wrong model number. I picked the set and asked if they could get it in a specific color, i was shown a different set but it was to confirm the color. I was then shown a catalog to confirm the color again. If I agreed to the second set why would the sales rep feel the need to show it to me again in a catalog. We discussed the color and the set I was shown in the catalog had a different headboard. I clarified the set I wanted with the style headboard I wanted. Why/how would I as a customer know the model number on the sales sheet was not the set I wanted. At this point I also don't know if they scammed me and charged me more for a cheaper set. They also want me to pay over 30% for a restocking fee to fix their mistake. Their manager made false claims of how the transaction went, claiming she viewed footage of me but refuses to provide proof of this video. Do not shop here, who knows what...
